We have stayed here several times.. There are things to like about the property and things to dislike. To start with the negatives. The rooms are tired. Really, there are old and have not had updates. The beds on our recent stay were lumpy. The lock on the door constantly acted up. The AC near the restroom makes one side of the room cold and the other hot. If comfort is your priority, this is probably not the place to stay. On the plus side, the rooms are cheap for the area. The faculty are very friendly. The common areas and grounds look very nice. I didn't use it, but they have a nice workout room. Additionally there is a good breakfast included. One benefit is that they also include a cocktail hour from 5-7. Although that is great, I do wish that there was more consistency on that. When I stayed a few months ago, they served us unlimited draft beer from 5-7. My stay before that, I was told that there was a 3 drink limit. This time, I ordered a third beer and was told briskly, "You've already had two, that's the limit." I think it's a great amenity, but I wish the policy was set, as I was embarrassed after that. I'm totally happy with only 1 included beer, but I would like them to have a policy on their website or something, so one knows what to expect.. Overall, if you are looking for somewhere affordable while in town, this place is great. If you are looking for some place great, this is not it.
