There were two additional charges added to my credit card several days after our stay.One was for parking for one day, which I expected. The other $59 charge is unexplained. I have tried calling the billing/ account person 2 times, and the director of operations once, with no return phone call to explain these extra charges.

This hotel is a run down dump. Smell is awful. Rooms are disgusting. We never even unpacked our bags, left after 30 minutes to avoid throwing up. This place needs a SERIOUS renovation. If you're ok with staying in filth, this is the place for you. Definitely not a 3 star hotel as they claim.

The not so good was the bathroom fan it was extremely loud. Could not go to the bathroom in the middle of the night. Also the tub was not draining

Very convenient to Mayo Clinic and downtown. Staff very friendly. Property is showing its age, kind of worn and shabby. Some problems with room resolved quickly but someone should have noticed that the bathroom light wasn’t working.

They need to update their rooms desperately. They had basically NO plugins for any of our devices. Most hotels anymore have plugins in their lamps at least. The hot water took FOREVER to heat up. Needs a serious update. Only thing good about it was the convenience to where our Appoin**ent was.

Like the convenience of the location and access to Mayo Clinic. Dislike clocks on the nightstand… not close to the right time and hard to get changed.

I liked most everything. It was difficult to get a luggage cart to take our things to the room when we arrived and again when left… We checked in at 6:30 pm. We checked out at 10:30 am. The second night we were unable to park in the hotel garage because several people parked taking up two spaces. The hotel did remove the parking charge but it was inconvenient to have to park in another garage across the street.

Kahler Inn and Suites was a very comfortable and affordable room attached to the Mayo Clinic building. There was direct access without walking outside. It is also convenient to many local restaurants and walking distance was a great benefit.

Absolutely loved the fact that you could take subway level and walk to the Mayo without having to go outside.
