Welcoming, clean and comfortable. Well situated, ample free onsite parking. Good restaurant and drinks menu. Staff were friendly, very helpful and represented the Hotel very well ndeed. Beds were comfortable, pillows less so in our opinions, however, we did prefer the Hypnos mattresses rather than the Silentnight ones now being used. For a quieter room, request one at the front of the hotel, there is a railway line at the back of the hotel which, if you prefer to sleep with the window open, will mean an early wake up from passing trains. With the window closed and the air con on, there's no noise. If you have special dietry needs, I would suggest phoning the hotel to check that these can be met. Overall a great couple of days.

Great bed in the accessible room, and the wet room was excellent. Friendly staff. We are blue badge holders and had no problem parking but it's a really busy car park. If need be you can park at the Bingo hall next door. The food was enjoyable but the free WiFi is terrible, meaning it was even difficult to make phone calls.

From the check in, to the room, the facilities, the food, and the check out, everything was smooth & stress free. The staff created a very relaxed, friendly atmosphere, making me feel at ease throughout my stay. There was no pressure selling of booking for meals, just an explanation of the options, and that I could decide at any time. I was surprised that there was no shaver point in the bathroom or any tissues but this was a minor point, so didn't distract from my stay.

We stayed at this Premier Inn last weekend for a bingo night away and the service was absolutely flawless. So friendly and helpful from the very beginning. The room was clean comfortable and always guaranteed a good night sleep at a premier Inn. We needed to go out earlier than when dinner service opens, so the chef was happy to come in early open the kitchen and serve us dinner. This was absolutely fantastic and so kind of the staff to help us out. Highly recommend and we can’t wait for our next bingo night.

On our arrival we weren't informed that there was no hot water, we were told it would be back on around an hour after our enquiry at around 7.15pm. We hadn't eaten all day so we decided to not have a cold shower and head straight downstairs and get a table at your restaurant. We were quickly informed that they weren't taking anymore customers. So we went elsewhere to eat. Not a great first evening.

The place was tired ,no hot water to get a shower ,hooks falling off paint off, curtain off un clean ,dirty bed stored under bed, lack of breakfast items on buffet,4 small pots of uht milk for a brew ,not good why does this review have to be 200 characters ? I suspect it's to put people off leaving negative reviews ? Very odd

Spacious newly refurbished room which was very clean! The bed was very comfy and the black out blinds worked a treat. Staff were friendly and the breakfast selection was very good. The location was great as you are not far from the main town, but also there is a bowling alley with good food within walking distance along with other eating places .
