Fernleigh B&B

Perfect in every way. Really lovely guest house and owners communication prior to the stay was excellent about arrival time and instructions directions etc. Having visited RHB numerous times before as have family there, we know that parking is limited but you can usually get on street parking or the public pay and display a few minutes walk. On arrival we were greeted by Chris and Jane, showed to our room, number 2 on first floor with front views. The lovely breakfast room downstairs has fresh milk for brews in your room and the homemade brownies were delicious! Bathroom and shower well equipped with fluffy towels a big shower and the double bed was very comfortable. We filled in our breakfast requests from the form in our room on our way out. Hubby had full English which he said was quality and I had the smoked salmon with scrambled eggs which were very good indeed! They came and chatted to us at breakfast (about dogs!), really lovely couple and you can clearly see they are very proud of their guesthouse which they have owned since 2017, and rightly so. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others and would definately stay there again. Thank you

Cannot recommend Fernleigh B&B high enough and the place really made our stay in Robin Hood Bay perfect. Chris and Jane was so welcoming and loved her chocolate brownies. Plenty of off-road parking close by too. The bedroom was so warm and cosy with sea view and was immaculate with a walk in shower. Had the best night sleep and was quiet. However the highlight for me had to be the delicious breakfast which I will remember for a long time. Thank you again for a lovely break and it did us both the world of good.

Excellent all round, lovely, comfortable, clean, spacious room with the added bonus of a separate little lounge area, tea and coffee with fresh milk and fridge with treats, the little extras very welcome, fabulous breakfast, super hosts, would recommend

Wow,what a 2 night stay at the Fernleigh. To celebrate wife's 63rd birthday. Great location near Whitby, where we revisited over 2 days. Warm welcome from Chris & Jane. Beautiful B&B & loved our room. With homemade chocolate brownies on arrival in breakfast room/lounge also in our room. Very comfortable room, lovely fresh bedding & view of the sea across lovely rooftops. Tasty ordered in advance & cooked to order breakfast on both days. Nothing to much trouble. Had very tasty lunch of local fish in Whitby restaurant for lunch, spoilt for choice of eateries even in November. Christmas market was on over 3 days, a bonus. Gorgeous evening meal at the Victoria Hotel, such a treat. Walked it all off on Sunday morning down to beach. Quite a challenge on way back up, but so worth it, stunning. Would highly recommend and we will return.

Absolutely beautiful guesthouse. Immaculately clean and well maintained. Everything you could need in your room. Comfy beds and a lovely bathroom. We had Room 4 which also features a lovely little lounge area. Chris and Jane are superb hosts and provided a fabulous cooked breakfast and lots of local advice. We have been to RHB many many times over the years but I think this was our best stay yet. Will be back and with heartily recommend to everyone we know. Thank you 😄

An amazing place in Robin Hoods Bay. The hosts, Jane and Chris were great and couldn't do enough for us. The bed was comfy, the room lovely in soft greys and the B&B overall was stunning. The breakfast was fantastic all freshly prepared and cooked. I would definitely recommend this as a place to stay.
