Robe Holiday Park

What a great place, friendly, helpful staff, well maintained, lots of different camping options to cater for all. We usually camp in National Parks so chose a powered bush camp site, just perfect balance of seclusion with access to facilities, and all within easy reach of Robe itself. Highly recommended 👌

Robe holiday park is right on the beach (yeah, it’s the Southern Ocean, so even on a 42oC day, brrr). The park is well equiped, an impressive camp kitchen, enough showers, 2 minute walk to everything. We were in a campervan, on the bottom terrace with outlook onto the sea, it was incredibly hot (40+) but lovely to be able to sit and watch the full moon rise over the water and just chill out! Robe has a couple of tourist things, the obelisk and the customs house, old Gail ruins, ice cream parlour. People go there every year over the Aus day weekend, so there’s a “feel” to the place. Worth a stop over.

Fantastic park! Owner was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. We stayed for two nights - large grassy sites amongst the bush, heaps of room, communal fire pits and spotlessly clean amenities! Great 2 km coastal walk into the town which is well worth doing. Would highly recommend this park - we’ll be back!!

WE had booked in for just a night on our journey back from Adelaide to home in Melbourne. we had booked a cabin which was terrific. Being winter, the reverse cycle conditioner was on heat and the cabin was comfy warm. The kitchen area was very well set up for meals and had plenty of crockery and utensils. Sharp knives were a bonus which enabled us to prepare a delicious southern rock lobster which we had purchased in the town are. Sitting area was great, TV was excellent and the eating area was great as well. Sleep was a pleasure in a very comfortable bed. Great shower and water pressure in the morning.

Nice camping and lovely spot. Please do check the laundry machines as one had rust on it and our white wash went completely orange… The staff were helpful though in finding a solution but did not offer any damage compensation.

We were travelling from Melbourne to Adelaide and stayed for 2 nights at this holiday park. It was very spacious, clean and well located. The laundry was well equipped. The two people I met on the reception desk were chatty and friendly and offered good advice regarding places to visit. Highly recommend.
