A very nice old world hotel however rooms are a little bit tired and need a refresh.

Great Service but classic room is so old. Especially shower head is too old to take a shower. However, every staff is very kind and considerable.

The room is very big and nice, very nice, the study and bed, I didn't expect the layout to be so interesting, the lobby is also very big, I felt the sunshine while having breakfast, it really felt good

I recently stayed at the Intercontinental Riyadh Hotel for a business trip, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The reception staff were exceptionally professional and welcoming, setting a positive tone for my stay. I also had the pleasure of using the club lounge, which was outstanding. The lounge offered a great variety of amenities and services, enhancing my overall experience. I highly recommend this hotel for both business and leisure stays.

I booked the Intercontinental Riyadh at the beginning of May for 2 nights (business trip). I got a room on the 5th floor where no water came out of the shower. I could not reach the front desk as the phone was not working, which was also the case with the TV. I had to report to the front desk in person. A person came to my room to see if the shortcomings I had indicated really existed. I was then given a room on the 2nd floor where the TV was also not working. But at least I could take a shower. The filthy carpet in the room had defects (see photos) that no 5 star hotel can afford. At check-out, I mentioned the defects again and was assured that my complaint would be discussed with the manager. I also did not receive an invoice as I asked for a discount and was assured that they would call me and then send me the invoice by e-mail. None of this happened. I made another complaint over the phone, but again I got no result. This was the first and certainly the last time I stayed at this hotel. mm Switzerland

Our Al Bustan dining experience was great. Their international dinner buffet has a variety of options and we enjoyed it. Me and my friends were thanksful to their kind and accommodating staff. The place has a relaxing ambiance and we will definitely come back. Thanks to Mr. Ernie for answering our queries, appreciated much!

The hotel is really old and worn out. The rooms look horrible with stains all over the place, very old bath tubs, old sheets,… The sheets in my bed were torn and had a huge hole in them. Unbelievable for a 5 star hotel, There is the Executive area of the hotel with more modern rooms but still far from being a luxury hotel. Value for the money is really bad. They should shut down the hotel and completely renovate.

We had a wonderful stay at the InterContinental Riyadh. The atmosphere was great and the staff were amazing and very attentive. The breakfast had a wide selection and was delicious. Overall, the food and beverage options were excellent. The pool and health club at this hotel are the best among all the hotels in Riyadh. It truly is a fantastic hotel, and we would love to come back anytime.

Indoor pool closed and not made aware. Builders and Drilling from 8am every day To use outdoor pool they want you to undress in gym and then walk through building site to outdoor pool - intimidating ! Shabby and dirty furnishings carpets torn and trip hazard. Basic bathrooms Needs thorough clean and refurb. Offered new pillows due to allergies to duck feather - replaced with same. Even the drawers in room do not close. You have to leave key in doorway to keep electric on to charge laptops which was a prob and too few sockets etc Nicest bit was food service Iftak in club lounge good !
