We stayed with 3 couples from the 25th to the 27th in this place, arriving just in time for Christmas lunch which to say was excellent would be an understatement. Very friendly owner and staff, quiet and pleasant place, we had a really good time and we will publicize it a lot!Nangiate

The hotel is located a few km from Assisi. At first glance it looks like a characteristic structure with quite large spaces. However, what is presented does not correspond to the photos seen on the site: no outdoor breakfasts or dinners in the garden, the structure really needs to be better cared for and maintained. It is not a 4 star hotel. it's all quite approximate and not well looked after. The outdoor space has a swimming pool with now dated deckchairs and umbrellas that come from various beaches, the grass is not looked after and cigarette butts are often found on the ground, the bar is poorly stocked and does not display prices. Inside the furniture is old, the rooms need to be ventilated more. The management is in the hands of the father and son who live more as guests than managers, although I must say that they were kind. The cuisine is typical, excellent, with generous portions; dinner is varied, while breakfast is rather poor. Dinner time is 8pm, but we never started eating before 9pm, and with a small child it's not the best, very slow service. In short, the location and the price are absolutely excellent, but it cannot be presented as a 4 star hotel, so expectations are also scaled down and adapted to reality.

La Padronale del Rivo was a pleasant surprise for my family and me during the weekend of October 13-14-15. This lovely Country House offered everything we were looking for for a relaxing weekend. The rustic-style rooms were cozy and clean, creating an authentic and warm atmosphere. The panoramic view of the surroundings added a special touch to our experience. The pool was the perfect place to cool off in the autumn sun, and the surrounding garden was an oasis of tranquility. The real star of this stay was the Umbrian cuisine. We were lucky enough to enjoy delicious dishes prepared with fresh local ingredients. The flavors were authentic and delicious, and the friendly staff made our meal even more special. Overall, La Padronale del Rivo is the perfect place for a family escape. The combination of comfort, exceptional food and surrounding natural beauty makes it an ideal retreat for those seeking relaxation and authenticity. We can't wait to return in the future. Advised

We stayed 3 nights at the farmhouse. Spacious room for 5 people also equipped with air conditioning. Ample parking inside the structure located in front of the Church of the Sacred Hovel. Our stay included half board with a complete breakfast of mains and dessert and a dinner of first course, second course, side dish and dessert with good quality and quantity. Good base for visiting Umbria. Staff always available. We didn't use the pool.
