Horrible stay. Staff came in our room unannounced at 530 am. And scared us. Lock on door was broken. Burn marks in our blanket. Room was moderately clean but old. AC had burn marks on them. Great location and quick to where we needed to go. But the overall appearance gives bates motel.

This is one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The room clearly wasn’t cleaned. There was hair everywhere - on the floor, in the bath tub, on the toilet, on the sheets and bed spread. The mirror above the sink had dried toothpaste splatter on it. There was also a dead cockroach in my room as well as another family members room. Do not stay here. If we had been able to get our money back, we would have left and gone elsewhere.

Place was no good I don't like confrontation so only pushed it once to get a diff room but had the same issue so toughed it out but deff waste of money place is nasty too

Clean and upgraded modern room with comfy bed Excellent WiFi and tv Had no issues. Check in and check out were easy

They're housekeeping staff is a bunch of ********** they say they're taking a lunch they're gone for 3 and 1/2 hours when they come out their eyes are bugging out their head they're zinging off the walls they can't focus

No curtain, no fridge, no tv, only one bed instead of 2 asked, given room was not even cleaned up, took me 3 back and forth to the reception to get the right room ... Will never go back there for sure !

The room was filfthy. The sheets were stained and dirty. Very noisy in general.Iwas woken up at 2 am with loud noises next door. Very disappointing. I was expecting a nicer spot according to the pictures online. I will never be staying here again, sad to say.

I can not state this enough, this place is so dirty and disgusting filled with roaches, *****…. We were in town for my son’s graduation from AIT the Army. There were roaches crawling all over even on the outside ceilings, stairwells, and the bed linens was used and dirty with blood, urine, hairs. The bathroom had mold, broken borders, hair still in shower and drug pushers in there. I can’t believe this place is still open. Where is the state health department and code enforcement??? This place needs to close down!!!!!! No matter, what you pay for a room you expect at least a clean room and clean blankets and sheets. This is the most dirtiest place I have ever seen across all states!!! All the reviews from others are true it’s not a lie!!! Don’t stay at the Red Rood located at 12205 S Crater Rd Bldg A, Petersburg, VA 23805 or any close to it. I will say the young lady at the front desk when we arrived Makayla was honest, friendly, and she tried to help us but it was really nothing she could do she offered several different rooms and they were all bad!!! Makayla needs to work in a safer and healthier environment as well!!! She provides great customer service and was very empathetic! The manager the next day really could care less! Very unprofessional and not customer oriented!!! Stay away believe me you are better off sleeping in your car if you can’t find a place!!!!!!!!!! The worst ever place!!!!!!

The check i went smooth. The room was filthy the floor had not been swept it felt like for over a week. The tub was so filthy it hac black in the floor and on the rim. I would not recemend this hotel for all the tea in America.

Room nice and clean. Hotel and parking lot don’t look so good but room was nice. Great Mexican restaurant right across the street. Highly recommend dinner there. Also heard from local that Nana’s BBQ Buffet was also Great. Easy check in. Good value for the $.

Door handle fell off door..hot water knob wouldn't turn. No complimentary breakfast or coffee offered..room appearance way below standards...bottom of bathroom door looked like it was chewed on. Bed skirt had huge noticeable dirt ring around it....

This place is trash, I brought my family here with me for travel nursing. I have seen pill bottles with **** in them laying in the parking lot, the front desk told me I’m limited to 1 towel per day with a family of 4. The pool is out of service with no secure locks on it. I encountered ************ in the next room over. Cockroaches in the room, no secure lock on my room door, safe doesn’t work, no iron, toilet paper holder not attached and much more. I canceled my reservation early and left. Definitely not a safe environment for children. Avoid!!!

Not a clean place. Floor sticky and dirty. Refrigerator leaked and flooded the floor!! Stank of smoke so bad in hurt my lungs. Not fit for my dogs didn't even want them there. Pay a fee more bucks and find better!

This was the worst experience I’ve had with Wyndham. One room was full of flies. The other room had shoes outside the door to greet me. It didn’t have adequate working AC, a refrigerator or a microwave.

This motel is very run down on the outside. The rooms are outdated but the linens were old but clean. Bed covering was fresh. Shower is a bit ehh! The curtains old and in need of freshening. This place is very sketchy. Many contractors a few families. I’m really not feeling it, but I’ve been on the road for 13 hours and they allow pets. Nuff said!
