We loved staying here. It is one of the most stylish places we've stayed at, yet very budget friendly. There is everything you usually find in an ensuite hotel room but with the added extras you might only find in a premium hotel such as big fluffy towels, dressing gowns and slippers. There is loads of storage space and an iron and board, but the best extra was the kitchenette with a microwave, tableware/cutlery and a quiet mini fridge freezer. We stayed in rm4 on the 1st floor which is a small double and the ensuite is 3-steps down. We stayed here for 5 nights and were very comfortable. There is a large kitchen on the ground floor of the house with a washing machine, tumble dryer and dishwasher and an outside seating area. No keys required as entry is via keypads. Residents parking only outside but for a refundable deposit a permit can be borrowed from the office. Alternatively, there is free 2-hour parking on various surrounding streets. Cardiff Castle is a 10-15 min walk, with the shopping district another 5 minutes. Cardiff bay is a 5-10 min drive or you can get a boat from the castle.
