The room was comfortable although very warm. Maybe a better fan or ceiling fan could help. The food was really good so is the house wine. Overall a great experience and nice stop over.

We had a wonderful stay. It is a beautiful historic place and very quiet and peaceful. Very nice staff ! We had an excellent dinner at the restaurant and breakfast was complete.

We travelled as a group of cyclists on our way from Botswana to Cape Town. Great place, helpful staff, and great owner, service always with a smile. She even offered to dry our cycling clothes and offered each of us a bottle of wine before we left

I cannot express how amazing this place is. Eleane made us feel welcome. We were a large group and cyclists were taking part in a race, the food was amazing and the rooms were so cosy and comfortable we all slept so well. Eleane opened the restaurant much earlier than she usually does so cyclists could eat and get on the road. Thank you Eleane and to your wonderful staff. You made life so easy for us

The rooms were beautiful, beds very comfortable. The bathroom was gorgeous and the shower was a joy. Staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The only negative would be the size of the towels. They were a bit bigger than the hand towels, definitely not enough for an adult!

Spent one night at De Doornkraal Vinotel. Thoroughly enjoyed the setting. The stay was very comfortable in the spacious room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. As this was a business trip, did not get the opportunity to explore the surroundings, but did manage to get a very sound sleep and great food.
