We have stayed at Emily's cottages over many years. Although the upkeep and amenities of the cottages have declined over the years we have still been able to enjoy the views and the proximity to family. Unfortunately when we arrived from Ontario for our confirmed reservation there was NO cottage available. The phone number on the reservation is still the number of the people who previously operated the cottages. After a number of phone messages and emails I heard back from the one of the operators with an apology and a solution that would have us moving into one of the cottages the NEXT day and possibly one or two nights would be free. This was totally unacceptable and we were very fortunate to be able to book a few nights some kilometers away at the very last minute. Unbelievably you can still go on the website and book cottages that are currently occupied. We will never book at Emily's again.
