The area is nice, the long and windy road to the hotel follows the rushing river. All rooms have some kind of mountain view , with either a balcony or terrace. The rooms have all been modernised and were clean. We went half board, which is recommendable - there aren't many places in Riva di Turres to go out to, you would have to drive back down to the town below, Campo Turres. The food was very good, gourmet portions but you are full after 3 courses. There is always a vegetarian choice. The all in includes standard wines and beers and soft drinks, for extra cost there are are wide range of liquors avaible, some self-made. After a tour you can relax on the front terrance or there is a sauna & infra-red cabine.

Abbiamo trascorso tre notti in questo hotel che avevamo scelto perché senza muoversi in macchina le escursioni programmate partivano davanti l'hotel (rifugio Roma ,Malga Durra ,Alta via di Tures) ,la nostra camera era carina con bagno grande ottima la pulizia colazione abbondante anche la cena è stata di nostro gradimento acqua vino birra e altre bibite era tutto compreso .Girando parecchio per gli hotel del Trentino li ho sempre trovati addobbati con fiori questo niente ed era proprio triste con un po' di colore sulle terrazze sarebbe davvero molto più carino.

Totaal geen informatie en uitleg bij aankomst, zeer koele ontvangst Stafleden onvriendelijk en totaal geen interesse in gasten. Ontbijt steeds hetzelfde, avondeten matig. In de eet ruimte veel last van vliegen. Sauna en infrarood cabine oke.

HOTEL CARINO, BRAVO IL CUOCO, GENTILE IL PERSONALE. PECCATO CHE MANCHI L'ASCENSORE ED UN PICCOLO FRIGO IN CAMERA. TANTISSIME MOSCHE ED ALTRI INSETTI CHE RENDONO IMPOSSIBILE APRIRE LE FINESTRE. PER CHIEDERE DI USARE LA SAUNA BISOGNA QUASI PREGARE LA PROPRIETARIA ( UNICO OPTIONAL SENZA PREGARE E' COSTITUITO DALLA CABINA A RAGGI INFRAROSSI ( EVIDENTEMETE CONSUMA MENO ENERGIA ELETTRICA DELLA SAUNA). NON E' STATA UNA BELLA VACANZA!!!!!!!

La valle è stupenda, la gestione dell'hotel (credo famigliare) è professionale e di buon livello. Molto pulito, camere semplici ma curate. Cucina eccellente. Siamo vegetariani, abbiamo trovato varietà e buon cibo. E quanti supplementi di dolce!!!!!

Wir waren zum Zweiten Mal im Hotel Alpenrast zu Gast und wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Alles war bei uns optimal. Die ausgezeichnete Lage des Hotels sorgt für Erholung und ist ein toller Ausgangspunkt für alpine Unternehmungen aller Art. Das Zimmer hatte einen großen Balkon mit Blick auf den Hochgall und war wie das letzte Mal sehr sauber. Das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen (4-Gang-Menu mit jeweils 2 Alternativen bei der Vorspeise sowie beim Hauptgang) war hervorragend. Der Speisesaal ist seit dem letzten Mal neu renoviert und sieht richtig schön aus. Herzlichen Dank an Hanna Leiter. Wir sind rundum zufrieden und hatten eine wunderbare Woche.
