Villa Nicolli Romantic Resort - Adults Only

Great location. Walking distance to downtown Riva de Garda. Great customer service. My wife got a deep tissue massage, and she loved it (my wife is also a massage therapist). The indoor pool was fantastic. Covered parking and good breakfast each day. You order your eggs and coffee from the waiter, and the rest is Buffet style.

What an absolutely beautiful hotel and experience we enjoyed during our one week getaway in early May. Nothing was left to chance with the hotel team, from the exceptionally helpful and friendly reception team, to Renato in the bar and especially Ignazio and the restaurant team (apologies I cannot remember all the names!) Maura, Nadia, Nicola). The dining experience was wonderful. Though limited choices as some have said,(but how many choices do you really need!?) this is a high quality dining experience with food better than some top restaurants we have tried in the past on our travels. Each dinner you were presented with a menu and a choice of dishes, usually 2 or 3 for each of the four courses. Believe me, this is way above most hotels prepackaged food deals ... no buffet food here! You can choose house wine at a reasonable 7 euro a glass or choose your own wine with a range of prices, some expensive, some not so. The hotel's location is perfect, just a ten minute walk at average pace to the harbour or the town. The hotel boasts a wonderful quiet setting, with an outdoor pool area which looked amazing, though too cold this time of year for us to try! However, the bonus of an indoor heated pool adds to the experience and choice. The room we had was a standard room, yet was very neat and tidy, with a small balcony for those early evening glass of wine looking across the vineyard. The cleaning team were superb, hardly seen but we were coming back each day to a spotless room. There is nothing for us to complain about and I would not hesitate to return one day soon. Every member of the hotel team work tirelessly to give you the best experience possible. And really, there is nothing more you need from a holiday than that. Thank you all!
