I love this high end boutique hotel. The vibe is spiritual and people are extremely helpful. The rooms are awesome, decor is fabulous. The LOCATION is out of this world. Ma Ganga is flowing very close to the hotel. You can go to the ghats through the gate at the hotel. The restaurant is super. If you visit Rishikesh, this is the place to go!!!!

Beautiful stay in a calm hotel in a great location by the Ganga - direct access to the Ganga for sunrise and morning mediation, walking distance from markets and everything you need, beautiful yoga and meditation sessions, excellent food and service (incl. impeccable laundry service) and wonderful massages. It’s the perfect place to stay in Rishikesh to relax and enjoy this beautiful city of sages !

Wow, where to I start? I've visited Rishikesh many times over the span of several decades (!). Many different types of hotels, many locations all around the town. Yog Niketan by far wins my "Favorite" award. I will never stay anywhere else again. In fact I plan to return next year with a group of friends to celebrate a big birthday, and we are all definitely staying at Yog Niketan. This location in Ram Jhule (the quieter part of town) is perfect, literally on the banks of Ganga. Access to the river promenade is literally out the gate, and you are there. Easy to access Ganga Aarti, a dip in the river, and long strolls all the way down to Triveni Ghat, or up to the Ram Jhule bridge. Pretty much everything is walkable. Rooms are simple and very clean, and have all the requirements of a private shower, comfortable bed and bedding, desk and chair, fan and air conditioning, and best of all, patio or balcony views over the Ganga. Sometimes I just sat and watched the world (and people, cows, rafts, etc.) go by. You can hear Ganga Aarti from across the river each evening. The restaurant is good. Flavorful wholesome food, with very accommodating staff (especially Rohit who kindly provided TLC and extra veggies for me). I liked the full breakfast, plus the afternoon tea which offered plenty of chai and a variety of food. The spa is excellent! Warmly managed by Ramesh-ji, I had 4 treatments with Dhavendra. He is very skilled and experienced and professional. Highly recommended. I'll wrap up with commendation for the front desk manager, Mr. Yajuwendra Negi. He was always genuinely smiling and super helpful. I felt right at home from arrival to departure. I also want to mention Rohit, Shikha and lillavi at the desk, who were so amazing and helpful. My only regret in this review is that I might have missed some names. Literally everyone, 100%, were so wonderful and caring. Yog Niketan is among my all-time favorite places to stay.

I stayed here on my bday 28/09/25 , the best part is the location , just right at the banks of the river , u get up to have the most serene view , the staff right from reception to the guard are so hospitable… kind and genuinely helpful, Mr Rohit is an absolute gem of this boutique hotel …. more stars to u guys …special ❤️ to Ms Rinky at the spa!

Everything was perfect from stunning gana views , food, room ambience etc. Support staff was very co-operative too. From start to end very smooth experience.
