Hotel Yog Vashishth

The hotel is good and generally the people are also good. We found the kitchen and the support staff also helpful and courteous. However, when we had to cut short our stay because of a medical issue, the concerned person took advantage by charging 1 day extra room rent as "cancellation charges". To prove, we attach screenshot of whatsapp conversation showing terms agreed upon and the actual bill showing the levy of so-called cancellation charges. We had no choice and had to pay.

The hotel is good. If primary idea to visit Parmarth Niketan Ashram then this is an ideal property. 5 min walk from the ghat and market. View rooms are good especially 402, bed linen is clean, staff is good, cafe on roof top is excellent, food is superb, service is good. Bathroom cleanliness was just okay. Overall a mid range hotel with above average services. Price wise a bit more in the season. Entry in narrow lane, not great,but quite close to the ghats.

It was a very pleasant stay. Very close to the Parmarth Ghat, and the adjoining market area. The mornings around are very calm and serene. The property in itself lives up to its billing, very good infrastructure, management, and food. On this note, special acknowledgement for the chef, for a near perfect menu and taste.

Stayed here with my wife for 15 nights during our stay in Rishikesh ..Just a lovely hotel , with great staff , lovely room , rootop restaurant serving inclusive breakfast and a range of tasty dishes .. Many thanks to surrinder the chef for great cooking , Deepak customer service , Mangalam & Satish in reception , and all the other lovely staff .

My Wife I spent 15 wonderful days in Rishikesh which was Enhanced by this lovely small hotel Hotel yog Vashishth just 5 minutes from parmath ashram and the beautiful Ganga. The hotel and staff were outstanding being kind , Helpful & proffesional , just brilliant customer service.. Our room was on the top floor (4th ) with a lovely mountain view. The room itself was clean modern with a rain shower which was perfect after a day walking in the indian heat / humidity. Free daily breakfast was included in the lovely rooftop restaurant overlooking mountains .. The breakfast was amazing with a range of indian dishes fresh fruit , cereals and as much coffee & tea as you wanted. Very high standard & clean . They also have an extensive menu beautifully prepared. Many thanks to chef Surender ,Depak who looked after us in the restaurant , Mangalam & Satish in reception , Surya restaurant reception , the brilliant cleaning staff, and any staff i have left out.. Would highly reccomend this hotel for short or longer stays .. Will definity be coming back .

Great location for walking around (near bridge, which will get you to the less walkable half of the city) and exploring Rishikesh. Convenient cafe and nice in-house spa. Staff is attentive.
