Grantley Hall

Booked a table for Saturday festive lunch in the Grantley suite and it was the most magical experience ever. From the second you go through the main gates (and greeted at the gates) and the drive through the beautiful landscape gardens to the hotel is an experience in its self. The hotel and grounds are IMMACULATE. The staff are wonderful and as a business owner myself am astonished to the quality of staff they have on board who are all dedicated to ensuring every single customer is treated like royalty. I have to mention a young man of 19yrs old called Stan who kindly gave us a guided tour and wowed us with his politeness, attentiveness and professionalism he showed us and at the age of 19, I hope his parents see this as they have done a tremendous job of raising this young man and should be extremely proud of him in deed , Grantley hall you need to keep this young man at all costs as he is your future success. So the festive lunch was ABSOLUTELY outstanding from the second we entered to the second we left, the staff were impeccable and up there with the very best in the business, the food was to die for and presented fit for a king, the service and attention to detail could not be faulted whatsoever. So to summarise we were blown away for nearly 5hours and we will 100% be returning very soon and will be a regular client of Grantley Hall as nowhere in my 40yrs of travel and dining have we experienced anything on par.

We couldn’t have chosen a more magical setting for our 2 night pre Christmas break. We’ve stayed at Grantley Hall previously during the summer so I was wondering if the experience was going to be just as lovely without the summer temperatures but I certainly needn’t have worried. Beautifully decorated in every single area, the staff are absolutely fantastic (I’d even say the most attentive I’ve had the pleasure of dealing with), the food was wonderful as were the never ending cocktails. I can’t wait to go back, it’s definitely on a par with the top London hotels. Highly recommended!

First visit here for afternoon tea. Chose the Champagne option too. Lovely food and drink in a great setting . Fantastic service from Chris, Maicon, Akef and Fatoumaffa. Very attentive and relaxed. Had to take some cakes with us Will definitely return soon.

My mum and I were bought an afternoon tea for a birthday treat. From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. The customer experience is second to none, I genuinely cannot praise the staff enough. When we went in to the lounge area for the afternoon tea, we were looked after by Cris and Maicon. They were just simply wonderful and the experience we received was priceless. The food was incredible also. This is most definatly my go to place for special treats.

Travelling through Yorkshire in the old jag, thought we’d have a spot of afternoon tea. Grantley Hall was recommended to us by a good friend of mine. Well we were not disappointed, what a treat. Beautiful surroundings & such a exquisite tea room.

I booked Champagne afternoon tea for my friend of 44 years, 60th Birthday. From the moment we arrived at the gate we treated wonderfully by all the staff. The lovely young man at the gate kindly arranged to have umbrellas waiting as we neared the hotel door. The charming door man, patiently took photos of us on arrival and showed us through to the afternoon tea room. Once there we were looked after incredibly well by Cris - she was very smiley, super sweet and kind. We had some lovely chats with her. She and her husband who also worked in that room were outstanding. We managed to keep chatting until well beyond afternoon tea time - and moved into the bar area, and then went on a tour of the hotel and met Elise another staff member, again utterly engaging, charming and professional. The hotel is exquisite but the staff and their training are extraordinary. I had been once before for a Shaun Rankin dinner which was out of this world and thought the hotel might not be as good second time round but it was totally faultless. Huge thanks and congratulations to all the staff and the lovely girl on reception as we left (7.30pm!) You all did an amazing job and made my best friend's 60th - a birthday to remember!
