The hotel itself was nice, clean and in a good location (we thought). However, the family directly above us obviously had children who ran and jumped all day and night. Night time was even worse, sounded like a zoo up there. I've never experienced anything like it during any hotel stay, ever. Just horrible. It was so bad, even my seven year old son was annoyed and asked if there was anything that could be done. My husband and I phoned in several complaints esp at night, as we were there for a funeral and had to be up very early in the morning. At first we were told it would be taken care of and that it was unacceptable. Then my husband was told that they cannot control people's children. I understand about them being children, however, they should be able to control their ADULT guests and what they allow! So because they allowed their kids to bring that amount noise and disturbance, other guests HAD to suffer? By the time we were offered to move rooms, our stay was almost over. Also, apparently there was more than one ”disturbance” in which people were either drunk or high and police had to be called. The room next door to us had guests that smoked **** the entire time we were there. For this reason, I cannot offer more than two stars.

I reserved a day room (8am-5pm). On check in, the person at the front desk had no idea what a day room was. After explaining it for or five times, she said nothing was available. Then she asked me to wait while she looked into it. I then waited while she checked out 10 or 12 people because no one else was on duty and the manager unreachable. Then she found a room she could give me but couldn’t complete the check in and I had to wait again. Eventually the manager strolled in to work at 9:30 am and supervised the check in (although she didn’t apologize or indeed say anything to me), and I got into the room by 9:40. But here’s the thing: I was attending a day long conference online, which is why I reserved a hotel room, and had missed roughly two hours of it. Then on top of it all, the sign about the restaurant hours says breakfast ends at 11 am on the weekends. I went down during my conference break at 10:40 am and it was closed. I went back to my room and called twice before reaching someone who said “that’s a pre-COVID sign”. So you have had two years to change it and haven’t? I booked a hotel room for my online conference partly so that I wouldn’t have to leave the premises to eat as the lunch break was short. At no point was I informed of earlier hours. Then once in the room the air conditioner did not work and it was 76 degrees the whole time. A total disaster.

My uncle made the reservations for us. We didn't realize it was also a place where people lived (I think). But nonetheless, we didn't have any complaints. Our room was clean even though it was the first room to the left and the ice machine wasn't too far from it. We were able to watch good movie channels so we didn't hear a thing. I took a bath in a very clean bathroom with hot running water. The people outside the motel were a little iffy. The breakfast was very good with waffles and cinnamon rolls, orange juice, coffee, cereal, etc.
