"It’s a really nice hotel. The breakfast is great. However the location is a little bit awkward. Really far away from the metro and the bus is not reliable. If you are using uber to get around the city. It should be all right. The district of the hotel is okay. Sometimes you feel sketchy when you walk alone, but if you choose the different route with more people. It feels all right."

Facilities: Poorly ventilated room, unventilated bathroom, strong sewage odor, no hot water during showers, and old facilities that need maintenance. Food: Very poor breakfast, few options and no variation - the same food every day."

"I found Ibis New America by chance on Google trying to find some place in Rio de Janeiro to go to Rock In Rio. I booked the time for the best value. I didn't think it would be such a perfect location for the event! Besides being a meeting point, the site's infrastructure is excellent, offered a coffee with numerous delicious options and completely responded to what we needed. I would like to congratulate especially the receptionist Lucas who has done a wonderful service and has done everything possible to keep us from losing the transport!"

"The hotel staff is kind but it is difficult to find someone speaking English. The rooms are amazing, extremely large, and full of any comfort, but unfortunately, the location is quite penalising. It is in the Centro ( downtime), and this area is very dangerous, full of thieves, homeless, with the roads stincking. You are forced to stay in or move around only with Uber. Otherwise, you risk to be involved in an assault (”assalto”) and get you robbed ( pls wear down, take all your valued belongings in the safe, and use a very low quality phone for directions and photo if you don't want to take risk). Rio is not safe for the tourists in this area."
