Pretentious hotel. And that's all. The beautiful architecture and the tasteful decoration hide a terrible, impersonal and amateur service. The feeling is that employees are not properly trained and work fearing making mistakes and being punished by managers, which prevents them from properly serving guests. A simple request for plates and cutlery in the room - which can only be made of plastic if you have ordered food from outside (!) - took more than half an hour to be served. The same with regard to the request for bath towels. It seems that the entrepreneur does not provide the necessary conditions and structure for the employees to work satisfactorily, and this reflects on the stay experience, because the individual effort of one or the other is not able to circumvent this lack of structure and the unfortunate rules that employees managers create (plastic cutlery and plates in the room; pool towels, on the roof, which must be collected at reception, on the ground floor; etc.). Finally, it seemed to us that the employees are imposed terrible working conditions that prevent them from serving their customers even minimally. By far our worst hotel experience in RJ, a destination we go to very often. (ps. The Hilton, on the same avenue, offers much superior services for a price close to Venit Mio
