Take a deposit of £58 upon arrival. Rooftop bar never gave you change they would sometimes make you sign a receipt other times wouldn't so upon check out claimed we never paid one bar bill which we paid every time. They later took £60 from my account for 2 beers I'd already paid for. I emailed several times they choose to ignore. They even ignored trip.com. untrustworthy robbing people do not go. They removed table and chairs from 7.30pm new years eve forcing people to stand til after the fireworks. There was just no need for this as there was ample room. The bar manger was rude and aggressive to us. So unhelpful. There is no kettle huge no no in such an expensive hotel

I checked into the hotel and was very impressed at everything, the welcome, genuine friendliness from the front reception staff, but in particular one person was an absolute diamond!
Mr Barbosa helped me with first aid and assistance getting to hospital after I was hit by a motorcycle whilst crossing the road. He went above and beyond for me, helping me to remove my heavily blood stained shirt and freshen up before hospital. He did everything possible to help me - it was an outstanding effort! Amazing ! A real hero!

Top 5 of "worst Hotel"
Sowas ist mir nun doch noch nie passiert :)
Ich hatte eine Junior Suit für eine Person gebucht und bin am Donnerstag alleine Angereist. Als ich am Abend darauf die für meine Freundin auf Personen Anzahl auf 2 aufstocken wollte, wurde mir dies sogar gegen bereitwillige Aufzahlung verweigert.
Der sehr unfreundliche Herr der abends am Front Desk arbeitet meinte nur "wir sind ausgebucht, das ist heute nicht möglich".
Ich machte Ihn darauf aufmerksam dass ich Ja ein Junior Suit habe und genug Platz ist, ich auch wie bereits erwähnt einen Aufpreis bezahle.
Als ich bemerkte dass ich mit Ihm das Problem nicht regeln kann, verlangte ich nach dem Nightmanager (angehängte Bild) welcher unbeteiligt daneben stand und dann mit einem dreckigen Grinsen im Gesicht von der Seite sagte, "sorry we have rules!"
Das gute an der Ganze Sache ist, das ich dann in das um die Ecke gelegene Porto Bay Hotel eingecheckt habe wo man dann doch noch als Gast geschätzt und so behandelt wird.
Ebenfalls habe ich nach dem auf der Buchungsseite angepriesene Golfplatz gesucht, vergeblich!
Ich kann dieses Hotel leider niemandem Weiterempfehlen.
Preis / Leistung stimmt hier überhaupt nicht.

The hotel is well located but a bit old. The staff are very helpful. The gym treadmill needs better maintenance and/or replacement.
