One couple of our party needed assistance on one of the evenings after we returned to the hotel. No contact number available anywhere in the main area of the hotel & no staff on duty. When summoned by the private number outside. The manager was rude on arrival to all the people in this area. The following evening he was again rude & aggressive to the same group of people. Not allowing us to talk to him & became threatening to many of us. One of our members questioned his aggressiveness & asked for an apology resulting in the manager becoming more agitated & demanding that he leave the hotel. This manager would benefit from an anger management course. The hotel was closed from midday on this occasion with no staff available. Main front door locked from the inside & outside. So all guests had to use the back entrance. It was a concern that there wasn’t a fire exit assembly point plan in our room as well. Needless to say we will not be returning.

Worst hotel I have ever been to. the manager was incredibly rude and unreasonable, I would never ever come here again. Rinteln is a great town but I would advise anybody to avoid this hotel at all costs. There are many better hotels than this in Rinteln.

This Hotel has been renovated recently and has lovely clean Rooms The staff are friendly and helpful The Breakfast was very good and there is a nice bar We did not have dinner but others in our group were happy with their dinner

Stayed here for 4 nights and what a disappoint it was! The reception staff have no customer service skills and made our whole party feel very uncomfortable for the duration of the stay! The staff are not friendly towards children and children are viewed as an inconvenience in this hotel... not once did any member of the front of house team interact with my children or make them feel welcome, instead multiple staff members were 'shhhhing' them. The rooms we stayed in have been renovated but i feel do not meet 3 star standard! There is no air conditioning in any of the rooms and fans are not provided... in fact one member of our party went out and bought their own fan to make their room more bearable to sleep in. At the bar we asked for a glass of tap water for the kids and we we're told 'this is the same water as in your room' again just a massive inconvenience to them! Breakfast is good, but staff are miserable which puts you off your breakfast! Location is the only good thing about this hotel! Over priced, miserable staff and no customer service skills i would not recommend!

We stayed here for three nights . The rooms are over priced for what they are. Completely out dated and uncomfortable beds. Staff here are not friendly at all and when you complain they argued back. I was here from Dubai with my two year old and had pre confirmation that we would have a triple room except for the first night. I was ok with this as my husband was arriving later the next day. I went to book into our triple room the next morning to be told I can’t have it as the shower does not work so I had no choice but to stay in a double room and said it’s fine we will have to make do with a cot that my toddler doesn’t usually sleep in but I didn’t want to move all our things else where with a two year old. Luckily he was so tired from our days that he slept .the cot was old but had to do. Upon checking out they showed me a bill where they wanted to charge me 60 euros for the cot. I could not believe this as I was not told before that they would charge for a cot and usually this is provided for free by hotels . I mentioned this to the reception / family owners and they did not like it at all and become more unfriendly then they had been. I said I was the one who had been inconvenienced with the situation of not having our triple room and they wanted to charge me. The mangers response ,which I could not believe was you and your family have been inconvenient to us with the noise they were making . I was so shocked and said I was asleep with my two year old at another part of the hotel so do not talk to me about that, you just talk to them and how dare he blame me and my child of such things. He made me so uncomfortable and nervous that my husband had to take over to pay for our stay. I am not sure if we were mis treated from the beginning because we are a different race , or they don’t like children or big families so if you are either of these please avoid . Customer service needs urgent attention at this hotel. They just want your money and do not care how they behave and treat you. Awful experience.

The experience had started off great, no issues booking via email (we were part of a wedding party/ booking), and even upon check in we were greeted well and felt welcomed. In terms of the room - clean and spacious. No A/C but perhaps that is to be expected - fans were also not available. That is about where the positive experience ended. Night one, post dinner 3 of us guests wanted to have a drink in our room and needed an additional 2 glasses - no one was at reception, but there were glasses left out on the bar .. we used those two glasses knowing that once we were done they were going to be in the room for housekeeping. However, the hotel manager at night decided rather than come speak to us directly he bothered TWO different rooms in our group with rude yelling, about calling police over two wine glasses "stolen." These other guests, who while part of our family had nothing to do with these glasses were threatened and woken up in a very alarming way. Remainder of the trip, we noticed the hotel manager as being very cold and unhelpful towards not only us, but others in our party. Most of us traveled from abroad, and as a Canadian Traveler this was not at all the experience I had expected. No other guests (other than our party), from our observation were spoken to rudely or yelled at - some diversity and inclusion training would be highly beneficial. Other staff at the hotel were lovely but this encounter and others have left a very negative impression for our entire group

Unfortunately an unpleasant experience and very disappointing. The First night no curtains in my room, sun light came in at 6am so couldn’t get back to sleep, no Wi-Fi in my room, I couldn’t fully open the window as people could look in, no air con or fan. I asked for an extra pillow to sleep better and told to wait till tomorrow. The next night luckily I moved room due to a 2nd booking I had. 2nd night the Bar/reception man left glasses out on the side at night and with no one around for us to ask, I assumed they’re for guests to use without disturbing reception so I used just 2 glasses to celebrate with my family with a little drink in our room the next thing I know I get a rude call to return the glasses or the police will be called! We are not thieves and it’s very rude and arrogant to assume this! We was staying another 3 days. This is threatening behaviour towards guests and why would I want to steal 2 plastic cheap glasses? Do you speak to all your guests like this? You could have handled it so much better. Then when I actually apologised out of courtesy which I shouldn’t need to I just got a lot more attitude from the reception man saying what “behaviour is this!!” They’re just glasses. Well you shouldn’t leave them out! When I asked can I borrow 2 glasses, we are closed!! Not hard to say sure use those ones, it would have left a better impression. We was apparently talking a little loud in our room without realising and then got given warnings and attitude again. All you have to say is “please speak a little quietly” then it would have been fine. We are all professional and educated people and got spoken down to. Apparently we was an inconvenience to guests and for talking with our family in a hotel? We was also your guests from UK, Canada and Dubai. His poor attitude ruined a great trip for us and we was talking about leaving but we stayed and felt uneasy the rest of the 4 day trip. They didn’t have a room available due to maintenance so they downsized my sister who needed a triple room for my a little nephew but she was okay with that and fine not to cause a fuss but we just needed a cot for him as the room was now smaller, they tried to charge us 90 extra euros for the cot after we was inconvenienced and he was just rude to my sister saying how my family are an inconvenience and she said she wasn’t in the same room with me and come speak to me which I happily would have and because she’s in the same group she should also get attitude? So to sum up don’t borrow glasses, get downsized, don’t have curtains in a room or talk in the hotel. Get hospitality training for him to converse in a polite manner and hotel management training. We had no other issues with other staff. I travel all over the world and I have never experienced anything like this! I would never stay here again, poor attitude and poor manners and I would find a place with more respect towards paying guests! Be interesting to see the reply to defend themselves w

Fiquei hospedado no hotel a negócio , tenho que elogiar bastante o serviço prestado em geral . Deixo aqui meus parabéns para todos , serviço de qualidade excelente local no centro da cidade . Oferecendo um pequeno almoço extraordinário, de muita qualidade e variedade . Possui pessoas que falam inglês . Parabéns também a equipe de arrumação do quarto . Sempre deixando o quarto impecável! Pretendo voltar futuramente. Cidade bonita pra fazer bons passeios. Diversas opções de bares & restaurante a qual você pode ir andando ! Lugar de estacionamento o hotel possui .. Jedes Jahr zum Bückeburger MPS übernachten wir in diesem Hotel. Es ist zwar etwas weiter weg vom Festivalgelände, aber es gefällt uns sehr gut hier. Das Hotel ist zentral in der Rintelner Altstadt gelegen, Parken ist hinter dem Hotel kostenlos. Die Zimmer sind alle ruhig, kein Strassenlärm, die Betten bequem und man kann sogar mit einem kleinen Balkon buchen, was an einem Sommerabend sehr nett ist - vom Balkon aus kann man die vielen Schwalben beobachten, wie sie abends fliegen, und eben schön sitzen. Absolut spitzenmässig ist das Frühstück, hier bleibt kein Wunsch offen, die Auswahl ist reichhaltig und auch für Vegetarier wie mich ist alles dabei, was ich mir zum Frühstück wünsche. Gerne immer wieder!
