The room was Amazing. Even though it is summer they had a cast iron fireplace. (Smiles) I have one at home almost like it. Loved the chandelier. The decoration on the bed was a nice touch. My favorite though was the Black Makeup wash cloth, definitely a game changer. And last but not least. Kudos to the “Inn Keeper”Thank you so much.🥰

Have stayed here before and had a wonderful time. This time not so much!!! Room was fine. However the caretaker was quite rude. There were other couples staying and he was overheard yelling I wish this F’ ing people would leave. Morning for breakfast was a joke . It’s supposed to be a continental breakfast , we literally had cold sugary cereal , store bout small Brownie bites, petafores and soggy macaroons. Also packaged waffles but there was no syrup or anything to put on it. Shame as we love the manor to enjoy a great night with friends , but I doubt we will return

I was up to see friends I had been a Fireman in the town and we had many dept dinners there. Such a great place. The entire staff were super accommodating. I would recommend to couples as well the botanical gardens are there and in the winter you can’t beat the chistmas scenes.

Some rooms don’t have a bathroom, we switch to a room with a bathroom it was raining and the bathroom was flooded with water very old facilities that is not well taken care.

Had to park 1/4 mile away and walk to the manor in 90 degree heat. 3rd floor room had to carry my luggage up myself. No hot water. Leaking sink faucets. No knob on the inside of bathroom door. Poor TV reception. Paid $200+. Not worth $50. Don’t stay here

What a unique experience! The castle was beautiful and full of character as one would imagine. It’s quite literally in the middle of a botanical garden so that adds to the whimsy. Vinny the Innkeeper was friendly and helpful and he went above and beyond. As a solo woman traveler I felt very safe. I will be back!

I loved my experience here. If you want an off the beaten path getaway, and a stay in a castle, this fits the bill. The castle is beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the grounds are lovely. Located in a botanical garden within a state park, nature lovers who want peace will enjoy the surroundings. It has the quirks of a historic structure, but that's the charm! This was my second stay, and the caretakers have always been accommodating and attentive. I am already looking forward to my next stay.
