Rimske Terme Resort - Hotel Zdraviliški Dvor

The pools looks clean and ok if you came in the hot months. In winter the water is too cold. Our waiter did not do his job. I think he need more training how to do his job and how to speak to the customer.The table was dirty and he did not clean it. We order 0.5l beer and recive only 0.4l (beer with foam). It is better to order it in can. The food was OK but the prices are very high. If you are in dilema I recomended that you pick another spa.

Extraordinary experience in thermal spa Rimske terme, Slovenia. My husband and I spent three day in thermal spa Rimske terme. Our stay was very nice and relaxing. We enjoyed very much XXL romance package with delicious and rich breakfast and dinner buffet. As part of the package we enjoyed very much romantic bath with Sparkling wine and pralines and 4-course romantic dinner. Specially we liked big indoor and outdoor pools with nicely warm thermal water and different types of saunas. Staff was very nice and professional and not to mention that thermal spa is very clean. Really nice experience. We will come back.

It was very pleasant in the hotel (with a great view) and in the pools and around - in the July heatwave. (Except one thing which we missed: there is no cold water pool where you can swim even 10 m.) We had only minor issues: The room is OK, and thanks to the location it is not warm (the hotel was built on a hillside). However, the air con couldnt be handled: on or off, and if it is on, the temperature becomes too cold. In the room we were not satisfied with the lighting. The bulbs are weak and there is no reading lamp. There is no ventillation in the bathroom, thus everything remains wet. The hotel is not new, but they strive to keep it clean. Foods are OK in terms of quality and quantity, but for a 4* hotel more can be expected, e.g. there is not a real vegetarian option (although the salad buffet is perfect). Desserts, fruits are also great! Mineral water from the local would have been offered.

We stayed there for four days, a quick trip. (According to the fact is not so far away from Austria) The receptionist ist really unfriendly. (I understand she is young and a student but is no go for me) She doesn’t smile at all, she seems bothered and we realised even more during our stay. We asked some information and she was always super unfriendly. Sad. The food is on average, nothing special. The room was old and not the best. The pools are nice and the sauna too, pity that some saunas were closed (3/4 of them). The girls in the swimming pool entrance are super nice and friendly, a special mention goes to the blonde/with long hair (I forgot the name) who recommended the massages. The massages were really good, both Matea and Urska (I hope I wrote it correctly) were amazing. A special mention goes also to the guy from the bar, he ordered for us the cake and he took care of it, always smiling and friendly. His colleague a bit less. The breakfast and the dinner are okay, is just a bit creepy eating and ten people looking at you standing in front. In general I think is a nice hotel but I don’t think they can claim the 4 stars. Some services must renovate and more over details are always important, like a smile that doesn’t cost anything. Or asking how it went at the check out. Is something important. Ah I forgot to say that the fire alarm was crazy the first night, it was going on and off each 10 minutes. Details. As I said, are really important.

Ok, so my wife and I decided to go on a relaxing weekend getaway. We wanted to take a break from everyday stress and to enjoy some "we" time in the pools, saunas, spa. We wanted to get some couple massages and so... We chose Rimske Terme because of their reputation, and of course Instagram pics from many influencers. But at the end, it was nothing like we've imagined. Let's start from the beginning, there is no public parking space so you have to park in the hotel garage and of course you pay for it (Not cheap!), than we got a room which was ok, but not worth €250 per night (inside wall view). Then we went to the pool area, now you would expect that to be the main and the best thing this hotel has to offer but you are so wrong. Instead of smelling relaxing scents, you smell burgers and French fries and local bear, because there is a fast-food bar in the pool area, thats right, in that amazing pool area. Terrible! What was even more worse is that there was no place to lay down by the pool because it was so crowded (many are not guests but local residents). The pools were filled with children splashing and screaming, nothing like Instagram would suggest. We wanted to get some massage or couples treatments but everything was fully booked two days in advance. Luckily one girl from the ground floor managed to get us a 20-min thermal experience for us. The all other service (except for that one girl and reception) were very rude, especially one guy working afternoon on the pool bar and then in the lobby bar. To expensive for a bad manners service. He didn't know the menu. He threw the plate with food on our table and so one. The hotel buffet restaurant, terrible as well, small offer, no one came to serve us with drinks, and they did see us. All together, it was a bad experience and we will certainly not visit Rimske Terme again and we would not suggest it to anyone.

the whole service was excellent for us. we were impressed by the wellness service with massages and body service. we were impressed by the saunas with programs and musical evenings with sitting in the cafe. thanks and praise Eleni for the wonderful medotherapy, Tilna for the powerful and effective massage, Mojci for the best face care, Melita for all the love with nail care. Nini for the excellently executed Detox program. kudos to the restaurant and cafe staff. fast, responsive and friendly. Receptionists are always looking for solutions, which is very important to me. thanks to Markot for all the ideas and possibilities. excellent receptionist and beautiful human.
