Giorno 1: arriviamo la sera in albergo per il check in e scopriamo che la nostra stanza deve aver avuto giorni migliori sia come pulizia che come manutenzione, giorni ormai perduti. Il bagno non è adatto ai claustrofobici, ma anche a chi non ne soffre. Se sei in doccia e malauguratamente la persona che è in stanza con te entra in bagno, l’apertura della porta ti bloccherà per sempre sotto la doccia. Macchie nel water di origine sconosciuta e una stanza che per camminare in due o saltavi sul letto o facevi i turni per spostarti. L’assenza di un frigo ci ha costretti a bere acqua bollente tutti e tre i giorni. La sera stessa un blitz di tre pattuglie in albergo perché hanno arrestato una persona sul mio stesso piano e vabbè magari non è colpa loro, vado a dormire e ripongo le mie speranze nella prima colazione. Prima delle tre colazioni in albergo: il dramma. Servono alla mia ragazza celiaca fette biscottate che scopriamo poi essere SENZA LATTOSIO e SENZA ZUCCHERI AGGIUNTI ma con secchiate di glutine che ci costringono ad una corsa al pronto soccorso. Rientrati la sera stanchi e affamati siamo costretti ad aspettare dieci minuti abbondanti in macchina che si liberasse il parcheggio che avevamo già pagato. Una volta rientrati in stanza mi accingo a cercare i miei contenitori con la cena per scoprire che erano spariti. Una volta chieste spiegazioni alla reception prima mi era stato detto che erano stati buttati nell’ immondizia, per poi vederli uscire pochi istanti dopo dalla cucina addirittura lavati. Il perché si trovassero nelle loro cucine e non nella mia stanza rimane un mistero. Quando ho chiesto spiegazioni in merito invece alla colazione mi sono stati promessi dalla titolare, come “rimborso”, di questo errore che poteva uccidere la mia compagna, due Spritz e dieci euro. Entrambi mai pervenuti. Giorno 3: seconda colazione con il terrore addosso. Il personale sembra dispiaciuto ma con la ferrea convinzione che intollerante al lattosio e celiachia fossero la stessa cosa poiché continuavano a sostenere che quelle fette biscottate di cui prima andavano più che bene. tolta la pulizia approssimativa della stanza, sembra tutto stranamente tranquillo, ma la quiete non era destinata a durare. Quarto e ultimo giorno: durante la nostra ultima (finalmente) colazione, il maître sembra arrabbiato come una biscia. Prima mi dice di aver finito il sale in cucina per poi vederlo comparire sul mio tavolo un quarto d’ora dopo e poi continua dicendomi che il cappuccino senza lattosio per la mia ragazza già preso nelle precedenti colazioni , da quel giorno , senza nessun motivo, avremmo dovuto pagarlo a parte prendendolo esclusivamente al bancone del bar. Ormai con il cuore affranto e pieno di sconforto per la consapevolezza che avrei dovuto litigare per l’ennesima volta vado a chiedere spiegazioni per poi scoprire che a detta del maître è sempre e solo stata tutta colpa nostra, perché a quanto pare dire che uno è celiaco non basta. My wife and I stayed here last week for one night - but would love to come back and stay longer. Very near the amazing long beach south of Rimini (less than a block from the water). Rooms are very clean, new from the looks of things. Bed was very comfortable, bathroom was decent size as far as European hotels go (have been in hotels with much smaller bathrooms). Best part was the breakfast you get. Cool system they have going - when you check in they give you a menu checklist for the next day's breakfast. Put your room number on it and give it to the front desk staff the night before, and they'll put together what your order is for you the next morning. No buffet spoilage or waste - you get exactly what you asked for. The front desk staff member who checked us in (sorry, forgot his name) was hilarious - he wanted to see LOTS of food being checked off on the breakfast order, and when we handed it in he seemed mock annoyed that it wasn't enough. Very friendly, willing to offer suggestions, call a cab, etc. Would highly recommend the place, although it is far from Rimini's historical centre (about 5 km away). Our room rate was also the cheapest for one night we stayed anywhere in northern Italy, so it helps with keeping budgets reasonable.

Abbiamo trascorso 4g all'hotel Ischia a Rimini, io e mio marito, abbiamo avuto un accoglienza stupenda dalla Sig.ra Daniela ci siamo sentiti come se fossimo a casa, l'hotel a 5 minuti reali dalla spiaggia, l'hotel offre un ottimo servizio di colazione, un bar fornito e una bella reception, il proprietario Angelo e il suo staff è attento ad ogni esigenza.

Make sure you travel with mosquito spray as you do get a lot of bites. Perfect location to walk around Riccione and also right by the sea. Only took us 15 minutes to drive to the racetrack so perfect and the breakfast was great. Only thing breakfast could do with being served earlier on race day as we left before it opened.

Lack of sunshine around the pool We stayed (3xAdult, 1xTeen) for four nights whilst attending a sporting event nearby. On entering the hotel, it looked pleasant. On entering our room however, we got old damp kind of smell. The fridge did not function and we reported it on several occasions and it was never fixed. We did have an issue with the plug in the bathroom sink, which they rectified by removing the plug entirely. Housekeeping staff did a great job in the limited conditions. The room is very narrow, there is luggage table behind the door, meaning you cannot open it fully, and the bathroom is old, dated, and prone to leeks. However, shower pressure is good. We were told halfway through our stay the hotel is under new management. This is bringing a full refurbishment over the coming months and so explains why we were awoken before 8am one morning to the sound of hammering and banging. Would we stay again, probably not. There are so many alternatives in the area with similarly great locations, but with better facilities, for similar prices.

Iconic Rimini hotel. We loved the historic exterior and public areas, especially the Fellini lounge. The gardens are beautiful and the pool area was relaxing, if rather small given the size of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent. On the negative side, the bedroom had a period charm but the furniture was old and not in an antique way. There was also a lot of ambient noise from the fridge which we disconnected at night and the AC, which we never managed to shut down. The bathroom in particular could do with a serious refurb. The spa looked good but we weren't going to pay Eur 80 per person just to use the sauna and sit by the indoor pool. There is a private beach but charging up to Eur 95 for loungers is a steep extra - that said, the room rate was reasonable. Service was polite but not exceptional. On the whole, we enjoyed the hotel but it is teetering on the edge of looking tired, some major investment will be necessary sooner rather than later.
