Grand Hotel Rimini

Very nice environment in the best locations with top class clients and old fashioned atmosphere, locations of very important world star movies, the best of the best. All type of details are really professional handled, best staff very professional. You can see the Adriatic Sea beach the port are cross the road and all type of shopping are all around the hotel. Hope in visit again soon.

The hotel landscaping is superb. Well manicured and very clean. We stayed there 3 nights and it became clear quite quickly that they are much more attentive to repeat Euro guests than they are to first time guests . For example, their fine dining restaurant opens at 7:30. We were second in line, they check our name on the reservation list and in walking in a German young couple ( very prehistoric hotel) and they stop what they are doing and welcome them to their special table. In my opinion you can’t much more rude than that. I could add more examples, but they all center around service and getting someone’s attention for another drink, assistance at front desk etc without having them look at you as if you were second class

For THE hotel in Rimini with a 5-star rating to not have a decent hair-dryer, iron or coffee maker in the room is below par. Reception staff were too busy with conference guests and basic service, like requestion towels pool needed three chase-ups. Breakfast options were excellent, but again staff acted as if we were doing them a favour.

Fantastic old style hotel but kept up to date, keeping the original features. Staff were really friendly and always helpful. We stayed out of season but would love to come back in the peak season

What to say? Perfetto! The Grand Hotel in Rimini was on my to do list since several years but never had the opportunity to come. Rimini in winter is very quiet but you can appreciate the walks on the beach, the old town, the nearby villages and of course the excellent cuisine! The hotel is the best in town and it is one of those special places that combine history, old world elegance, comfort. We were greeted by Giampaolo and Lubi (hope it’s written like that), escorted to our beautiful room (guess we were upgraded) in a friendly and professional way…a good start. The room was beautiful, elegantly appointed with original antiques; the bathroom very spacious with a jacuzzi bathtub (a bit difficult to use). It was night but the following morning we could enjoy the nice view on the Fellini Park and the sea from our big terrace and a second romantic balcony. Breakfast was a delight, perhaps one of the best we have ever seen, with lot of choice of extreme quality; service again was friendly but very professional (special mention for Dalida, a true maîtresse de maison, and Cristina). We had dinner once in the restaurant and it was very pleasant. Food was elegant and the desserts excellent! The gardens were immaculate as well as the housekeeping of the whole property. Cleaning levels at the highest standards. I work in a hotel and I am a very difficult guest lol. When we travel, I like to choose the hotels…it doesn’t matter the category, I like hotels that are “kept” with attention to the little things. Here everything was perfect! Last but not least: in winter rates are very affordable. So, if you want to feel like the previous illustrious guests, do not hesitate!
