Rooms are clean and inviting though beds are quite firm. Excellent selection of breakfast options! I especially appreciated real hot oatmeal with a variety of fruit options! Also, important for our family is to have gluten-free and dairy-free options. There were several and so everyone was able to enjoy a delicious breakfast! Due to room demand for hockey tournament prices were high for the town. Terry, who worked in the breakfast room was truly wonderful! She demonstrated such kindness and respect especially to the young kids; mostly pre-teen boys. She remembered guests and what they needed from morning to morning. She is a treasure to have and hope that she knows this!

The website says this is a two star hotel, but it should be a four. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and well-maintained. The room had everything we needed. The free breakfast was delicious with lots of hot and cold options. We stayed two nights, and our only regret is that we didn’t get to use the pool which looked lovely and super clean as we were too busy with a family wedding. I would recommend this place to anyone as it is nicer than hotels I’ve stayed in in Calgary and Edmonton that cost more money.
