Hotel Continental is a well established hotel about 10 minutes walk from the bus station. I booked directly with the hotel and my standard room with a queen sized bed was small, although adequate for a night or two. Many foreign TV channels available. The bed was firm and excellent. The in-room safe did not work but as I stayed one night only, I was not bothered. I had access to a very big balcony from my room. The balcony is shared with two other rooms, but it seemed I had the balcony alone. The hotel’s restaurant served excellent food with lots of choices. Open air restaurant or in-door seating. Breakfast was delicious and varied and the service impeccable.

Super invincible sea view room, downstairs is the sea of clear fish, not awkward, will go to this hotel again. Super satisfied and happy. We bought a snorkeling device and had a great time. The breakfast is plentiful, sitting outside and looking at the sea, it feels great.

Really outstanding experience exceeded all expectations. Great spa. Great breakfast. Excellent dinner in the kitchen and a true tour de force at their Michelin restaurant Nebo. Fabulous spa facilities including multiple sauna types etc. We also got massages which were excellent. Our trip was during the late September shoulder season and it was a true pleasure. We also enjoyed the walk along the water toward Opatia. The view from our room was a panoramic perspective of the Adriatic. So glad we stayed there.

Location: perfect location, close to what is important to see in Opatja. Direct to the sea. It has a private quay to the sea and very close to a small public beach! Lobby: impressive with a great view over the pool and the see. There is also a nice bar! Pool and Spa: Pool is quite small for such a big hotel but the spa is well equipped with a indoor pool, Jacuzzi and different types of sauna. Rooms: Not too big but nice designed and well equipped. Breakfast: very rich selections, I really liked! Dinner: For this money I would try to also eat in the city. The menu is not very varied. Personal: also very varied, some are very kind other are grumpy. Entertainment: every two evenings we had a nice musical show. Parking: better to leave the car on the public parking spaces. Larger space and cheaper. It is not possible to pay by card, just cash and kuna!

There is a bridge to the island of Krk, you don't have to pay for the ferry. 4 different types of villas located in a beautiful garden close to the sea. It's quiet here, no noise. Dog friendly, close is also beach for dogs. Each villa has a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning, a terrace, and its own parking space. Take your sunbeds to the beach if you don't want to pay for them. A small town with many restaurants is about 3 minutes walk, with a nice little harbor, beautiful sunsets. The beaches are both pebbly with gradual entry into the sea, and concrete. Shop and bakery in the campsite next. I also recommend Il Cantucio restaurant for dinner. The hotel is in great location with view on charming Angiolina Park and the sea. From the balcony I could hear the concert of Norah Jones :-). Home made apple pie and berry cake (I ate both of them - 👌) are really home made. Big portions for two, and the price was surprisingly low (something over 2 euro per portion !!! in Croatia you don;t find such prices). And really nice lovely waitress - good english language. The guy playing concert was really good and most important his performance did not disturb our conversations at the tables. Will be back for an extended week in August.

Great experience, check in directly with the password, the owner is caring, clean and tidy, the location is very good, come back next time.
