Hotel was very modern and new -- loved the chic lobby and breakfast area. Rooms are very comfortable and have everything you need (hairdryer, safe, kettle, and great wifi). Location is great and very central to seeing all the main sights in Riga. The hotel also owns a cute little bakery/coffee shop right next to the hotel that we particularly enjoyed and would recommend.

We have stayed 2 nights in a superior double room. What I really liked about the room: very spacious, water kettle, capsule coffee maker, very decent bathroom. We were surprised to get our room cleaned every day - this is not common anymore. What I didn't like about the room: windows are from ceiling to floor but when they are open, you can exit to the street - also from the 4th floor (there are no safety railings or similar safety features). The bathroom cosmetics is as cheap as it gets; for this room category I would expect something a bit better. At least now I know what a shampoo made in PRC feels like. Don't try it! Breakfast was very diverse and super delicious. The thing that bothered me that the breakfast room is on level -1, or in cellar. No natural lighting. Hotel reception: check-in was super smooth and fast. Maximum 2 minutes, probably less. During the 3-day stay in the hotel none of the receptionists was able to produce a smile or any welcoming gesture. It felt we were not so welcome. Oh and one more thing. Upon reservation the hotel will inform you to confirm your stay via email 2 days prior to arrival. They want to collect all kind of personal data with very vague privacy policy that tells you (if you can understand the legal lingo) that all your data will be used for advertising by 3rd parties (franchises). If you, on the other hand, decide not to provide this personal data you might be denied the stay while the first night will be taken from your credit card. What a bunch of crap! And one thing that bothered us a lot. The spa. One would expect that you can visit the spa when you feel like it, but not. You have to carefully plan your visit in advance. There were so many limitations that we decided to just skip it.

Nice budget Hostel in an excellent position to visit the city. Everything is walking distance and there is a bus stop just near the hotel. Easy to reach from the airport and from the bus station. Bathrooms and shower are clean and there is a microwave on each floor. There is a sink in each room and they will give you towels. There is also a caffetteria in the lobby. Receptions runs 24/7. Many restaurants nearby. I suggest staying here for price and distance from the city center.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel which is situated in Old Riga not far from the castle and river. We stayed for 3 nights and were upgraded to a slightly larger room with a settee, table, coffee machine and double aspect view. Positive points: large, quiet, room with really comfy bed and different type of pillows (extra firm and very soft). Nice toiletries, fluffy towels, slippers and bathrobes. Heating was very effective! Location - easy to walk into town and down to the river. Welcoming front desk staff who speak excellent English. Nice array of breakfast options (including local cheeses, meats and fish). Nicely decorated dining rooms and lobby. Small one metre wide pool on top floor with loungers and a sauna (need to ask reception to turn on 30 mins ahead of using) Improvement ideas: cooked breakfast was a bit lukewarm on occasion and only one coffee machine was working which led to queues. No T bags or milk supplied - although there was a kettle (and fruit T bags). Sink outside bathroom which was a bit odd? It’s not a 5 star hotel - but a good city centre 4 star which was busy with lots of corporate guests during our stay. You can pre-order a taxi from reception to the airport for about 28 euros (10-15 minutes).

Location is great, but that is about it. Hilton hotel in Riga can barely keep up to standarts and basic necessities, and is not reasonably priced whatsoever. Starting with parking, which is 20€ a day, its more like small extra land, which they call a parking lot. Barely enough for 10 cars, it was though to get to a spot and park, because cars were parked in no logical sense, there were no directions. They have underground parking, which they seemed unwilling to let you in, because apparently you ‘need assistance’ to get up and down and it’s not that easy. When we asked about access, after arrival on the first day, when we barely fit in the one last spot, they said ‘but you managed to fit in here!’ The mattress is rock hard and the pillows are so terrible, like I have never seen before, cheapest of the cheapest. Only drinking water available in the hotel shop downstairs(that they claim is reasonably priced, but it’s absolutely not), is the most expensive water bottles that you would usually find on a restaurant table, costing 5€ a liter. And finally, they have a warm water problem. If the hotel is full or you choose to shower in ‘busy time’(morning or evening) there is simply no warm water. This was a reoccurring issue over our stay and when we called reception after not having warm water on an October evening in Riga, when temperature is barely above 0•C, they simply said to wait for it. After 20 min of waiting and, once again, complaining that there still is no warm water, we were plainly told that there is nothing they can do because the hotel is full. We chose Hilton, even though the price was relatively high for staying in Riga(over 100€ a night), because we trusted in reputation and name of the chain, expecting a certain standart, however, it was not fulfilled whatsoever. Very disappointing stay, we tried to look over all the little issues, but lack of such a basic necessity as warm shower after a long day, was the last drop for us, so we checked out one evening earlier.

We had great time at the hotel, while celebrating my husband's birthday betwen two of us. The staff is professional and friendly. The room had a great view, it was warm and smelled good. The only thing that was not exactly to our taste, was the softness of the bed, while we of course understand it is a matter of subjective taste. Was also great to have a small water boiler in the room for making morning coffee. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast lavish. Thank you!

We visited Riga and stayed here for 2 nights. I had modest expectations for this hotel given the price. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff are extremely friendly, and even remembered me by name which was a very nice personal touch. The reception area is nicely decorated, clean and modern. The room was clean, modern, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a little dated, but it was only a minor point. The hair dryer however couldn't blow away a cobweb, so bring your own! Breakfast was included and was very nice. There is a nice buffet selection of hot and cold breakfast items, different fruit and a variety of hot and cold drinks. A small point to note is the hotel is located on the west of the river, which is quite a long way into the old town or Riga city centre. However, there is a tram and a bus stop right outside the hotel, so as long as you don't mind using the public transport in and out of the town centre, you'll be fine. It only takes a few minutes anyway! Check out is at 1200 but they happily obliged when I requested a later one at 1300. I have no complaints about this place and I feel the value for money was justified. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Riga. Well done Bellevue Park!

We were only one night in this hotel between our flights and we liked hotel! It is new and very clean. Staff was kind and helpful. Our flight arrived at 11.30 pm, we didn’t have a reservation. We walked to hotel only 20min, checked from booking that there is rooms available. In reception we got a discount (about 10e/night) by joining loyalty program. Room was well noise-isolated and there were everything we needed (shower gel, shampoo, contitioner and body lotion, hairdryer). Breakfast was nice, not too big choise, but not too small, one thing were speial-you can make your own fresh waffles there! Unfortunately breakfast was until 10 am (we prefer later), but we were glad that at 10.30 there were still food and weitresses didn’t hurried to take anything away. First we tried to find some cheaper hotel, but than you have to take a taxi two ways and buy a breakfasts, so the price would be even higher. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and we are glad we chose it!

GGuest UserGreat location around 15 minute walk from the old city and tucked away in a quiet area off a main road. Along with my final booking details, the hosts provided me with excellent details including videos for how to access the property by myself. I somehow managed to lose this email when I arrived and the hosts were extremely prompt in helping me out.
The apartment is cosy and ideal for solo travellers or couples. The kitchen is well provided with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans etc. For cooking, there's a two ring induction hob, which for my needs this was sufficient. I also noticed a dishwasher and washing maching. The TV is internet enabled, great for Netflix or Youtube streaming channels.
Generally I found the hosts to be very helpful. If I'm ever in Riga again I'd be more than happy to stay in the same apartment.

GGuest UserWe had the Grand Suite for a bachelorette event on 13th of August, 2023, but the service was truly a disappointment. It all started when at arrival the room was not ready and they mixed up the time of arrival with the time I requested an ice bucket to be brought to the room. Further, I requested a plate to put some snack on but the receptionist confused it with antipasti and after not clarifying this in 2minutes said that this could not be cancelled. The personnel of the hotel is truly a disaster. not client oriented at all! when asked to fix this the guy starts coming at us not in any way in friendly matter that this was our request (when we clearly did not request it). After almost an hour of wait the room was cleaned. I requested a compensation for all this misunderstanding and the receptionist personally came to the Suite and offered a 10% discount for the whole dinner at their restaurant. When we finished the dinner and the bill arrived we were surprised of the fact that no discount was added, the waiter said that there was no information available to him of any discount and that the bill he issued could not be cancelled (at this point we felt that we are treated as complete *****s) however we tried to make an effort and help him solve this whole thing. He tried to offer us a bottle of Prosecco which we kindly refused and basically accepted some cocktails which we did not want. The cherry at the top of this whole stay was when we went out in the evening and asked to send someone to our room to clean the glass from the bathroom floor which was accidentally dropped and the receptionist offered us help in 9am next day…. A 5 star hotel they say… and there were personnel in the hotel… so with galas on the floor of Grand Suit we stayed the night :) When explaining the situation in the morning at the check out and how disappointed we were, the reception said that they understand us and this is unacceptable and they will clarify and call me to resolve this, as we could predict, no form of justification was offered at all…Well, two weeks later and no call whatsoever, should have expected this…

CColinBeautifully restored heritage building in the center of old Riga. The classic feature of the original architecture have been preserved and complimented with a modern interior design with clean Nordic style. Rooms have a foldout sofa bed, great for families. Breakfast is simple but high quality ingredients and attentive staff. Recommend the fresh croissants and salmon and raspberry smoothies. Location in center of old town on a charming street just close enough to great restaurants and bars but quiet enough to get a good sleep.

The house is said to have more than 300 years of history, so there are wooden beams in the room. The carpet in the corner is very dirty. Other sanitation is ok The rooms are a bit retro, and the European style is overall.
The suite is very large with two beds and extra beds can be accommodated in a family of three or four. The single room is not clear.
The room on the main street is very very noisy. Downstairs is B bar. At night it is a bar. Disco-like music ends at 2 o'clock. The waiter gave earplugs and apologized.
When it was convenient to go out of the old town, it was really facing the church of domo.

GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel a few times but the level of service became worse and worse. The location is all right but even the budget room price does not compensate for the bad experience which you will face. First of all, it is definitely not 4* hotel, maximum 3* if you will be lucky enough to get a good room. The room itself is small, the bed setting uncomfortable and the room is terribly dirty. Even when the room is ”Ready” doesn't mean that it is clean. Upon check in we found a row of empty bottles and cans behind the entrance door from previous guests. The water in shower doesn't drain. We talked about it several times but nothing was done. The breakfast is the same every morning and the breakfast area is so small that it is impossible to squeeze between tables. The coffee maker is so old that it is hardly working and coffee is awful and cheap. The staff is so hopeless that they are lying intentionally. If you forget something do not hope to get it back. Our previous stay we left jewelry in the room and contacted the Hotel straight away after check out. They nicely replied that everything was found and we can collect jewelry upon our next stay. I called the hotel three weeks before arrival and asked to prepare our stuff, which has been promised. But upon arrival I was told that they never confirmed anything (even I had written confirmation), later on that it was not my jewelry that they found and lastly that they have no time to deal with my request. so absolutely helpless, rude and lying staff. We spoke to the manager who promised to resolve it but as usual nothing was done.

GGuest UserHave just left here after a three night stay as part of a small group tour of the Baltics. The hotel itself is very nice; some of our group had quite small single rooms but my husband and I had a very good size double room, with fridge and kettle (so good to be able to make tea!). The bathroom was large and the shower worked well. The bed was comfortable and there was a more comfortable chair and a dining-type chair. There was also a safe. Breakfasts were decent, with what seems to be a fairly typical range of options for the Baltics. Unlike our two hotels in Estonia, however, no gluten or lactose free options were provided. Downsides: - location. This is quite a biggie as the hotel is 30-45 minutes’ walk from the centre of the old town, and the nearest tram stop is still around 15-20 minutes away too. - towels were very thin indeed and one of ours had loose threads all over one side, well past its best -wifi was not the best, quite slow and also patchy Would I stay here again? No, largely because of the location.

GGuest UserI had a very nice stay, although disappointed with the whisky tramps outside and being warned not to walk the streets around the hotel at night I felt very safe. in my room. when it was locked. once you got to know them they were lovely. one man with 5 big toes for fingers was very pleasant and full of gummy smiles. The hotel tried to charged a completely separate group of friends that i dont know what so ever. with 1500 euros .TRIED being the operative word. TRIED. because instead of letting a fire on the back of his friends belly button spread into the building he thought it was the RIGHT thing to do as a registered fire marshall and use a fire extinguisher to put it out. a man of morals. Smoother surfaces on the furniture would have been more helpful. For cleaning purposes. The free trams around town were a delight and i enjoyed a pleasant chicken kebab salad for my breakfast in the market.
