Hotels near Ēbelmuižas parks in Riga

We visited Riga and stayed here for 2 nights. I had modest expectations for this hotel given the price. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff are extremely friendly, and even remembered me by name which was a very nice personal touch. The reception area is nicely decorated, clean and modern. The room was clean, modern, spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a little dated, but it was only a minor point. The hair dryer however couldn't blow away a cobweb, so bring your own! Breakfast was included and was very nice. There is a nice buffet selection of hot and cold breakfast items, different fruit and a variety of hot and cold drinks. A small point to note is the hotel is located on the west of the river, which is quite a long way into the old town or Riga city centre. However, there is a tram and a bus stop right outside the hotel, so as long as you don't mind using the public transport in and out of the town centre, you'll be fine. It only takes a few minutes anyway! Check out is at 1200 but they happily obliged when I requested a later one at 1300. I have no complaints about this place and I feel the value for money was justified. I would definitely stay again if I returned to Riga. Well done Bellevue Park!

We needed accommodation for one night, close enough to bus station and this hotel looked nice. We arrived from airport by buss No 22, bus stop is not too far from hotel. Building looks ugly from outside, but nice and cozy inside. There was everything in room what you need for 1 night: comfortable double bed, large flat TV, water kettle with coffee and minibar. Our room had very small window. We missed more hangers, there was only 2 pieces. Unfortunately floor heating was not in order in bathroom. Breakfast was like in typical 3* hotel, but this hotel has 4*.

We had great time at the hotel, while celebrating my husband's birthday betwen two of us. The staff is professional and friendly. The room had a great view, it was warm and smelled good. The only thing that was not exactly to our taste, was the softness of the bed, while we of course understand it is a matter of subjective taste. Was also great to have a small water boiler in the room for making morning coffee. The dinner was excellent and the breakfast lavish. Thank you!

We were only one night in this hotel between our flights and we liked hotel! It is new and very clean. Staff was kind and helpful. Our flight arrived at 11.30 pm, we didn’t have a reservation. We walked to hotel only 20min, checked from booking that there is rooms available. In reception we got a discount (about 10e/night) by joining loyalty program. Room was well noise-isolated and there were everything we needed (shower gel, shampoo, contitioner and body lotion, hairdryer). Breakfast was nice, not too big choise, but not too small, one thing were speial-you can make your own fresh waffles there! Unfortunately breakfast was until 10 am (we prefer later), but we were glad that at 10.30 there were still food and weitresses didn’t hurried to take anything away. First we tried to find some cheaper hotel, but than you have to take a taxi two ways and buy a breakfasts, so the price would be even higher. We really enjoyed our stay in this hotel and we are glad we chose it!

We had the Grand Suite for a bachelorette event on 13th of August, 2023, but the service was truly a disappointment. It all started when at arrival the room was not ready and they mixed up the time of arrival with the time I requested an ice bucket to be brought to the room. Further, I requested a plate to put some snack on but the receptionist confused it with antipasti and after not clarifying this in 2minutes said that this could not be cancelled. The personnel of the hotel is truly a disaster. not client oriented at all! when asked to fix this the guy starts coming at us not in any way in friendly matter that this was our request (when we clearly did not request it). After almost an hour of wait the room was cleaned. I requested a compensation for all this misunderstanding and the receptionist personally came to the Suite and offered a 10% discount for the whole dinner at their restaurant. When we finished the dinner and the bill arrived we were surprised of the fact that no discount was added, the waiter said that there was no information available to him of any discount and that the bill he issued could not be cancelled (at this point we felt that we are treated as complete *****s) however we tried to make an effort and help him solve this whole thing. He tried to offer us a bottle of Prosecco which we kindly refused and basically accepted some cocktails which we did not want. The cherry at the top of this whole stay was when we went out in the evening and asked to send someone to our room to clean the glass from the bathroom floor which was accidentally dropped and the receptionist offered us help in 9am next day…. A 5 star hotel they say… and there were personnel in the hotel… so with galas on the floor of Grand Suit we stayed the night :) When explaining the situation in the morning at the check out and how disappointed we were, the reception said that they understand us and this is unacceptable and they will clarify and call me to resolve this, as we could predict, no form of justification was offered at all…Well, two weeks later and no call whatsoever, should have expected this…

Terrific overall experience at the Riga Metropole Hotel. My brother and I stayed 6 nights-- we enjoyed the visit, especially the Hotel. Physical facility was smart, well appointed and very clean! Staff was friendly, efficient and most hospitable. Location is convenient to all of Old Town. Breakfast was outstanding...over the top...so plentiful, almost no need for lunch. Room rate was very fair for overall value received. GM was engaged and seemed to be every-where.... Definitely would stay at the Metropole again and again.

The location is very good, the old city new town one after the other, across the road is a small park, walking to the old town all the attractions, health is not bad, the room is not small, parking 24 hours 15 euros, if you go to the store late If you can, park your car on the street, 2.6 Euro for the first hour, second hour for 3 Euro, 8pm to 8:00 the next morning.

Very unexpectedly high quality of service and condition of the room, wonderful breakfasts and more at a very attractive price. This is our first visit to Riga after our honeymoon 28 years ago. Convenient location for those who like to walk. Satisfied with the hotel and the travel experience!

Hotel was perfectly located, right next to the old town city and across the street from market and train station. Room was cleaned and spacious. Room 425 was right next to staff room and staff kept smasching the door from ealrly morning till lunch and it was bothering us during stay. We notified about this receptionist and she said she will discuss it. Best thing about this hotel was definitely breakfast, you could choose from wide range - sweet pancakes or salty hashbrowns. I would recommend to go to breakfast either very early or after 9:30 because it was crowded around 9:00 am, but this is not fault of hotel. SPA was good as well. 15 euro for 1,5 hours - sauna, jacuzzi and small pool. If you book it online via concierge it was 10 euro. Overall, we were satisfied with this hotel and would pick it again for stay in Riga.

I had a very nice stay, although disappointed with the whisky tramps outside and being warned not to walk the streets around the hotel at night I felt very safe. in my room. when it was locked. once you got to know them they were lovely. one man with 5 big toes for fingers was very pleasant and full of gummy smiles. The hotel tried to charged a completely separate group of friends that i dont know what so ever. with 1500 euros .TRIED being the operative word. TRIED. because instead of letting a fire on the back of his friends belly button spread into the building he thought it was the RIGHT thing to do as a registered fire marshall and use a fire extinguisher to put it out. a man of morals. Smoother surfaces on the furniture would have been more helpful. For cleaning purposes. The free trams around town were a delight and i enjoyed a pleasant chicken kebab salad for my breakfast in the market.
