Great hotel, beautiful. Only downside was the hours for the pool. It works have been nice if it opened before 9am.

While the room is comfortable the property has some issues. Parking is one. They don’t have their own lot and charge you $12/day. The spots in the lot are limited and so narrow it is impossible to open your car door when you are in a spot. Second is amenities. First Courtyard I have been in (in 40 years of business travel) where the only amenities are a bar of soap and the towels. Last is luggage carts. They acknowledge guests leave them in the hallways but do nothing to ensure they get returned. Simple solution, take their drivers license when they take a cart and return it when the cart is returned.

stayed here for a night. Checked in only around 9 PM - had food delivered to the hotel desk. Nice and clean hotel. Room on 5th floor. Had a balcony - which i did not even open since temp was in the teens :) - Big room, clean bathroom, good internet. They have a nicely equipped gym and i used it in the morning. It has a small little pantry shop where i was able to soda / water, etc. I would stay here again

We stayed here Sunday, November 24 and then again on Friday, November 29. On 11/24 we had a very pleasant experience, easy check in and quiet room. Very overpriced tiny bottle of Prosecco ($21?!). We used Chromecast before bed to watch Disney+ with our child. If I was just reviewing that day I would have gone with 3.5 stars since it’s just an average Courtyard/no frills experience. But since you can’t write 2 reviews so close together I had to average them. On Friday 11/29 we had booked 2 rooms, one for my family, the other for my parents. The internet was spotty, my parents TV didn’t work and they sent someone up to the room who couldn’t fix it. They offered to change their room except my dad was already asleep in the bed. So not helpful. Then we tried to use Chromecast for Disney+ again about 15x and it wouldn’t work. The person on chat and then down at the front desk said that the Chromecast does not work on any of the TVs and never has- even though it is an option and we just used it a few days prior. He basically made us feel like we were crazy so here are some photos…. I was super disappointed by the customer we’ve and next year we will look for a new place to stay in Richmond.

I selected this Courtyard to stay at as I had a conference nearby recently and this location was very close. Checking in was friendly and professional. The only issue during check-in was they had me sign a “parking waiver” which basically warmed me that when I parked, I needed to make sure the spaces I parked in were labeled “HOTEL” not with a number. Once I parked later that evening, it made sense to me, but is COMPLETLEY HORRIBLE!!! I parked in the proper space, but I observed an over-anxious private tow firm come by to tow a vehicle next to where I parked and the guy told me he was going to tow them because they parked in a numbered space. While I totally understand that this is a mixed-use garage, sharing space with apartments/condos and the hotel, the hotel needs to find a better way to manage this. Can you imagine being a traveler, parking here, coming out the next morning and your car is gone, simply because you didn’t pay attention to the label on the space?!?! So, this is why they have guests sign this waiver, so they can say they warned you. Well, when the owners decided to build a hotel here, they needed to find a better parking option and this one isn’t sufficient. Sorry, I get the labels, etc and I did the right thing, but my 25+ years in law enforcement tell me that rarely do people read the print on the road, especially a garage. If they want to do this right – they would give a parking pass that goes on the dash with a number and the tow driver would need to check with the desk BEFORE towing, which gives the desk the ability to call the owner of the vehicle BEFORE they get towed. (But that’s simply one option – Basically, it’s bad business to mix an apartment complex with a hotel) OK – Parking aside, the room was great! Newly renovated or maybe brand new totally – Either way, I really loved the layout and the cleanliness! The bed was comfy, everything was clean and worked great. I also loved all the USB and AC power options around the bed and in the room. Definitely loved their selection of channels on the TV too. Even the elevator worked great! (Most times in small hotels like this, the elevators are extremely slow and once they stop, they seem to take 10+ seconds just to open the door, but not here!) Overall, I’d stay here again, but I’m only giving 4 stars instead of the 5 stars the room, comfort, etc deserved just because of their poorly designed parking situation.

What a great hotel. Not just a great city location, but every step was quick and simple. I found a competent and spirited team of workers that were helpful at every turn. There were always guests around the bar for happy hour. The fitness center is big and something you’d expect to find at a big convention hotel. Will be back!

The hotel was extremely clean, fresh & new looking. The staff were all very attentive & helpful. Our room was very clean, top notch everything. Bed was so comfortable. Plenty of parking. Close to everything. Easy access to inter city belt line. The lady in charge of house keeping was top shelf! Nice pull under to load & unload to stay out of rain. We will definitely stay there on our next trip to Richmond. It was a very pleasant 3 day stay.
