The city of Richmond had water boil for 1/2 of my stay. Brilliant that there were RO already on each floor. Staff was friendly and professional and helpful

The aesthetic of the property is amazing. Very reminiscent of a Wes Anderson film. Hotel was very clean and bright.
The only issues I ran into was first the noise level while in my room. You can hear everything out in the hall. Second, the temperature of the water in the shower plus not be adjusted. It was very hot and no matter how much I turned the knob to cold, it just stayed the same temperature.
The staff was ok. Not super friend but not rude. I’d also say the professionalism was a bit lacking for an upscale hotel.

Quirky Yes!
No hot water!!!! Also, hall outside room looked like it had not been vacuumed forever. Front desk woman was rude.

This hotel is so beautifully done. A+ on decor and vibe. Absolutely loved it. Front of house staff seemed less than professional though. No greeting, no thanking you for choosing them, just handed you your key with your room number. Valet is not there to help you with your bags or to offer assistance. They solely park and retrieve your car and never speak to you at all. Gallery attendant seemed to be studying the whole time I was in there and never looked up from her book to greet nor say goodbye. Apart from that, the hotel is so super cool and in the heart of the city. Love the creativity and would recommend on that alone. Oh, and bar staff were all very good and attentive! They offset what the front of house lacks.

The interior of the hotel is fabulous. We loved the vibe and the decor. The restaurant was really delicious. It would be great to have a little more customer service- like people to help with luggage, and some better understanding of the area around and in the hotel. No one told us anything except for giving us a print out of some

Service was great, but the walls were paper thin. The bathroom also had no hot water and the tiles were dirty. Nice room but not worth the price

We LOVED this hotel!! Such friendly and helpful staff. The location is great. It is such a cute space and the Bar offerings are great. Rooms are very spacious.
