I had a great six day stay at the Delta Marriott. The location is very good, close to the downtown and the river. I had a large room with a view of the river. The staff are really great.

The hotel facilities are average and the location is not bad. At 200 dollars per night, the price/performance ratio is very poor. This time I encountered a boiler failure, no hot water and no breakfast. What I'm quite satisfied with is that the hotel refunded the full amount, which is kind of a courtesy.

I really enjoyed my stay at Delta Hotels by Marriott! I would definitely stay again and highly recommend others choose this location if they are in Richmond, VA!

Front desk staff was super nice. Lobby was nice, but the rooms were just horrible. Super old, felt grimy. Stains all over the walls, bathroom curtains, etc. Just not my speed. I even showered with flip flops on, as I didn't feel comfortable. If you're someone who wants to feel, where they lay their hand is in a pristine, clean environment, this is not the hotel for you.

Easy on & off from 95 & close to the canal walk
Great location & nice hotel. The room smelled a bit musty, the carpet needed restretching & the fridge did not work but overall happy with the room. There was a parking garage party that was quite noisy a block up. The police broke it up after a couple hours

Housekeeping seemed short of staff. No hair dryer in room. Ice machine on my floor broken. Front desk very helpful. Shuttle service and drivers exceptional. Convenient to lovely James River riverfront activities if one can walk hilly terrain.
