book at your own risks - if u want a quick over nite this might be ok, heater not working well, stained linens, no hair dryer, room super duper small, no space to place even a carry-on, impatient receptionist & very poor service, safety hazards on the wet floor in the bathroom (with a sign to remind guests) but i wonder why no bath mat was provided at all. location wise is about 4-minute walk from Richmond Station if u don’t get lost in that zig-zagged route.

They won't let you leave your suitcase there. What's even worse is that even though it's a hotel, there's no water in the shower or taps. I stayed there for two nights, but there was no water, so I couldn't brush my teeth or wash my hair. Other people said that the water cut-off was more than just a one-time thing, so I guess the water supply is cut off on a daily basis.
There was no refund or compensation for this.
It was the worst hotel.

The room was very clean and had enough facilities for a night's stay. The only thing that is not provided in the room is a hair dryer, but you can borrow one at the front desk. It has good access and is surrounded by restaurants and shopping streets, giving the impression that it is located in a high-class residential area.

Very disappointed and shocked by our stay and also the response Travelodge have given us following our complaints of finding BLOOD in our room. DO NOT STAY AT THEIR HOTELS. We paid £134.99 for ONE night at Travelodge's Richmond hotel. At the very least we expected the room to be clean, this was absolutely not the case. When we arrived to the tiny room there was lots of patches of BLOOD (photos provided) smeared on the headboard of the bed, hairs in the shower and an extremely loud AC. We reported this straight away to the front desk and the best they could do was "offer to wipe it off when we went out". The fact it had not been already wiped on their handover clean was astonishing to me, the headboard of all places had not been checked or wiped!! The poor staff member behind the desk seemed to be on their own and didn't really know what to do with our issue. They informed us that our room had been used by someone from the council the night previous. If rooms are being occupied by potentially vulnerable individuals via the council, at the very least, Travellodge should be fully inspecting and thoroughly cleaning their rooms. Especially when they will be charging a paying guest £134 for the following night! I was absolutely shocked they expected us to stay in that room after what we had found, when we voiced this concern to the front desk they offered us an "upgrade". At the time this seemed to be a fair compensation for our issue and we accepted. However once we arrived to the new room, it was absolutely not an upgrade. The room was exactly the same, the AC was even louder and the shower curtain was mouldy. At this point we had to go out and didn't see any point complaining further, following the lack of urgency on our very serious previous complaint. When arriving back to the room that night we could not sleep due to the loudness of the AC. Honestly it is insane how loud they are! It was also flaring up our allergies and asthma (suggesting to us that it also wasn't clean). We turned the AC off, but the rooms have zero ventilation and become so hot and stuffy, and so we did not sleep a wink. Having paid £134 for this room, we were left pretty frustrated. I made a complaint to Travelodge to express all of our issues following our stay. Considering their competitor Premier inn offer a full refund on just a "bad nights sleep" I believed they would be quite considerate in their compensation due to the serious nature of finding BLOOD in our hotel room. My partner and I are a young couple, we can rarely afford to go away, and this really dampened our trip. Travelodge offered me £50 compensation, not even HALF of what I have paid. I am honestly so appalled by the overall experience. I never in my life expected to find BLOOD in space I'm paying so much for. For them to be one of the biggest hotel franchises out there, you would expect a high standard of cleanliness at the very least. From reading many of their reviews, this does not seem to be the c

A fantastic stay as always - I stay here regularly, it’s a quiet hotel in a brilliant location with very friendly team. Recently refurbished with some excellent new plus rooms as a great addition. Excellent GM in Andre and a clean and well maintained hotel

Clean and warm, with a comfortable bed and nice, hot showers. It was such a shame the room was so tiny and with the windows blanked out it did feel very cramped, which spoilt it for me. The WiFi you get if you pay for a Standard Plus room is good, but beware, there is also SuperPlus, which is advertised as a bigger room and more facilities. It's ok for a night but not for a prolonged stay as a bit too small for two people to share the space. The parking next door is readily available but very expensive, which added to the cost as it is the same in any of the few public car parks in Richmond. It is handy for the tube though.

Rooms are very small and basic, ground floor next to a busy road. No breakfast or lounge facilities. Just a disappointing Breakfast in a box ‘to go’.

Very smal rooms. Rooms in this hotel are extremely small and most of the rooms facing the back have the windows frosted. Probably the cleanest and with better costumers in all Travelodges in West London but expect a super central location and basic hotel. Air con is loud and there is no signal in the hotel unless you pay for WIFI. almost 2025 and yes no free Wifi its hilarious. Rooms are spotless and very clean. Team is amazing!! Never felt so welcome and comfortable in a place that is not my house like here.

Won’t be staying here again thank goodness. We were here for a family wedding and the room was so small we both couldn’t get ready at the same time, as others have said, there isn’t enough space for the desk chair to fit under the desk. The view from our room was a brick wall. No phone signal in the room (EE) and WiFi is extra (£3.00 a day) which I feel is unacceptable in this day and age. We paid £190 for this on one of our nights, the other nights were between £45 and £90. On our last night there was a party in the corridor (ground floor next to reception) by other guests and nothing was done to stop the noise. This went on until after 2am. No phone signal and the WiFi doesn’t work at night so was unable to contact anyone. Didn’t feel able to go along to reception. If you want the room cleaned or topped up you need to ask. The positives - the location is excellent, everything is very close by. The room was clean and the lovely man at reception when we checked in helped to get my phone connected to the WiFi. Bed and pillows all good.

Very disappointed. Room was very small, the window had frosted glass so that you can’t look out except for a narrow strip at the top. The window can’t be opened. No towels in the room, had to return to the entrance to get the towels. The shower has a shower curtain, how unhygienic. There is no reception area as such, nowhere to leave luggage. No cafe, restaurant just a vending machine. Heating was noisy. The building feels like an institution, no character or atmosphere. If this is their “new design”, then it disappoints. Beware of the dynamic pricing, we paid much too much! Should have booked with option of cancellation.
