book at your own risks - if u want a quick over nite this might be ok, heater not working well, stained linens, no hair dryer, room super duper small, no space to place even a carry-on, impatient receptionist & very poor service, safety hazards on the wet floor in the bathroom (with a sign to remind guests) but i wonder why no bath mat was provided at all. location wise is about 4-minute walk from Richmond Station if u don’t get lost in that zig-zagged route.

They won't let you leave your suitcase there. What's even worse is that even though it's a hotel, there's no water in the shower or taps. I stayed there for two nights, but there was no water, so I couldn't brush my teeth or wash my hair. Other people said that the water cut-off was more than just a one-time thing, so I guess the water supply is cut off on a daily basis.
There was no refund or compensation for this.
It was the worst hotel.

The room was very clean and had enough facilities for a night's stay. The only thing that is not provided in the room is a hair dryer, but you can borrow one at the front desk. It has good access and is surrounded by restaurants and shopping streets, giving the impression that it is located in a high-class residential area.

Had a problem with the room and requested a change. Staff were very unhelpful and made us feel as though we were being difficult. Eventually we were told we could change the following morning but the duty manager told us the following day that they were fully booked and we could not change room. No apology offered.

Brand new Travel Lodge in Richmond. Excellent location and good rooms. No service whatsoever including a sign saying - this hotel does not store luggage. I have nt seen that before; and don't bother to try calling because you have forgotten something - they never answer. I suppose that is the modern world ! But as a budget hotel goes its physically better than a Premier Inn.
