Lovely place to stop on a long journey. Perfectly positioned for long drives where you need a break. Very clean, really like that each room has a bath. Breakfast is excellent and they have a nice bar for lunch and work meetings. Stopped here several times, flexible about arrival time.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at Tan Hill for one night on 28th Dec and absolutely loved the experience. It was our first time there and we had heard great things about the place. It definitely lived up to our expectations! Rooms were very cosy, loved the decor and the extra touches such as bottles of water and biscuits for the tea in the room. The staff did really well considering how busy the place was and they were more than happy to help. We enjoyed both our two course evening meal and our breakfast in the morning. As well as the inside of the place, the drive up and surrounding area is lovely (especially as it was snowing when we went). We would really like to make staying here a regular thing when we go back to normality and would like to try the camping in the summer months.
