The front desk cler was a wonderful gentleman who went above and beyond on Thursday September 6 on an last minute stop. Sometimes compassion and kindness go a long way. The room was average but the customer service was exceptional. He even told us of the newly opened Buc-ees near here!

Hotel has very comfortable rooms, extremely clean & great location. The hotel’s staff & housekeepers are local - hard working folks. They are very accommodating, welcoming & friendly. They go above & beyond in making your stay enjoyable & seamless.

My husband and I have had to move out of state several times for his job. When we move his company pays for us to stay in an extended stay for up to two months until we find a permanent place to live. Out of all the hotels we’ve had to do a 2 month stint in and there has been 4, this has been the absolute worst. The layout of these rooms is so cramped and small and unaccommodating. There’s no where to sit and have a meal together. There’s no room under the bed to store a suitcase or anything else. Very little closet space. The cleaning schedule has yet to be made clear to us and we’ve been here a month already. The WIFI is terrible, rarely works. The pool says it’s heated but it’s not. The TV is a nightmare, you can’t hook anything to it like a PlayStation, Xbox, switch etc.The A/C we had to get fixed so we could actually control it and it wouldn’t kick off via a motion sensor. If you have a dog there are no doggy bag stations or trash cans for their doggy bags. To do laundry is super expensive. $2.50 for a load in the dryer or washer for one cycle. The staff is friendly and try to help as much as they can but no one seems to be on the same page. If you are coming here and are planning to stay for more than 1 to 2 nights I urge you to pick somewhere else. Just a regular hotel room at any other hotel would be roomier and more accommodating than this has been and I’m sure would not have this many issues.

Absolutely nothing about this hotel works the way it’s supposed to or makes sense, the A/C, the TV, the layout, the accommodations. My husband and I have had to relocate several times for his job and his company pays for us to stay in a hotel until we can find a new home so we usually stay in a hotel for quite a while and out of all the times we’ve had to do that this by far has been the worst experience we have ever had in a hotel. If you are staying here for longer than one night I highly recommend you try another hotel. We’re checking out as soon as we can and we’ve only been here 5 days.

This was a really great hotel to stay over night, the bowling alley was right behind the building to at we could go. The work out room had some weights although one of the weights were missing (15 pounds) kinda sus but yeah. Breakfast was free and had healthy varieties. The pool was small and the chlorine is a strong stench. When you walk in the hotel at first, it does smell really soapy.

When driving from Florida to Ohio, or the other way, Kentucky is a great stopping point. We love the town of Richmond and love this TownePlace. Super duper clean. Friendly staff. Quick and efficient check in. We were up and out early so we did not enjoy the breakfast.
