Nice not too big hotel...nice location but a bit remote. If you want to see something of Calabria then renting a car is a must. Breakfast by Italian standards extensive and very tasty. Dinner is also always neat and tasty. Warm welcome by the lovely tui lady. Staff all very friendly. Rooms neat and the jacuzzi makes it complete.

This hotel provides a really disgusting level of service and doesn’t deserve 4 stars. In my opinion, it is not even up to 3 stars. The most disgusting feature of this resort is the non-WLAN: Though advertised as readily available, it is either unavailable at all or too slow for any meaningful online activity. I’m writing this in my Hotel room on my iPhone using a mobile network! Next, the food is extremely biased towards seafood and fish and meat eaters will have a hard time here. Further, the restaurant service is unenthusiastic to say the least. On two evenings, there was a set menu which took several hours to finish. I just don’t have that much time for dinner! Live music was playing in such a noisy way that I needed to wear hearing protection in order to save what is left of my hearing. There is a strict regime at the pool and moving deck chairs into the garden is frowned upon on. The architecture of the resort is poor and looks like a concrete brutalist 70s design. I could go on and on. Of course the view on the sea is great, and the weather is fantastic. I guess it’s the only things the management was unable to mess up.

We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights as part of a greater trip through the south of Italy. Hotel: The hotel location is great with a direct view to the sea, the coast line and the Stromboli island. The access to the beach is possible directly from the hotel within a 15 min walk or thanks to the regular shuttle service provided by the hotel. The service at the beach is also great offering drinks, snacks as well as a safe and private access to the sea. Food and Beverages: The hotel offers a main restaurant serving mainly as a buffet which is well diversified and tasty. A second à la carte restaurant is available for customer once per stay. The bar offers a wide range of drinks including wine and cocktails at reasonable prices. Room: The room is spacious and comfortable. It is however lacking storage room, furnitures and lights. E.g. a double bedroom only has one chair to sit on. Alternatively, if both guests wish to sit at the same time, they either can sit on the toilets or on the bed. Room is furnished with very basic (and obviously cheap) equipment. Service: The overall level of service at the restaurants and bars is very good with friendly and available staff. The same goes with the pool and beach. A special thank to Francesca who's caring about each customer and making sure everyone's satisfied When it comes to other services like maintenance and housekeeping, it did not come to our satisfaction. In the first days of our stay, we highlighted a defective cloth drying rack and ask for it to be changed as it could not be used. 3 days later and after 3 reminders, the rack was still not changed. Similar lack of response to get the bedsheets changed. We requested it to be done through their app but had to claim it at the reception 2 days later as the request remained opened in the app. The concept of having an app to book services is good on the principle but remains useless in this hotel. Our requests were only taken care of after having repetitively complained directly at the reception. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the hotel but wish that the few issues we encountered would have been taken care of in a smooth way.

The experience was excellent both with regards to the location (quiet also due to the positive absence of children and full of greenery) and for the reception service, in the room and at the restaurant and at the swimming pool) Very good local dishes and super friendly staff Basic room (it was 'last) a little dated but clean, spacious and welcoming. The beach is very beautiful and the umbrellas are well spaced and the well-stocked kiosk is super comfortable (really ice-cold drinks). the showers didn't work well and were frozen (even though there was the possibility of heating the water) but above all almost no one used them before diving, whether they came from the beach or during their stay in the pool after using sunscreens (we saw people with BLACK feet) the very helpful lifeguard had to constantly scold when he could (it would be enough to underline the obligation to use the shower upon arrival at reception or to place many more notices throughout the pool area given the ignorance of many guests about knowledge of the most basic hygiene rules. Except for this, which is fundamental for us, we would absolutely go back also for the amazing sunset

We had a 10 day stay at this hotel in Tropea. Hotel without children and very quiet 👍, it is mainly couples who stay there. We are used to staying in Tui Blue hotels and nothing compares…Big disappointment for this one. Poorly maintained and poor level of cleanliness 😡😡😡 We were very surprised because the staff does not speak French 😡 except 2 people at reception. Unsmiling staff 😡except for a few exceptions. The breakfasts and dinners are buffet style and are of ordinary, even mediocre, quality 😡 only the Culinarium restaurant is worth it 👍 All drinks are charged for, even water 😡. In such a hot country, water could be offered, it's a minimum. Some waiters charge you for coffee after the meal, others not…😡 The rooms are not very big but sufficient. On the other hand, little space to store your laundry 😡. Comfortable mattresses and choice of pillows 👍 We stayed on the ground floor, small terrace but no privacy 😡 since there is nothing separating the neighbor's. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired 😡😡😡, whether in the rooms or in the main restaurant. The swimming pool is pleasant, the sea is a 5-minute walk away (free shuttle available), the beach has a private area 👍 for hotel guests. Clean beach but construction site toilets 😡😡😡…. At the end of your stay, you must return the key by 11 a.m., you can eat on site and go to the swimming pool...however, to change, only one shower for 8 people 😡 Advice to give to travelers: keep everything well your tickets received during your drinks and compare them with your final bill. After checking ours, error of 68€ 😡😡😡😡😡, fortunately we had a friend who served as an interpreter to clarify the situation.

Everything was very satisfactory! The food was varied, the rooms were very clean, the air conditioning was very pleasant! The complex was very beautiful and well-kept. The location was perfect, you can reach a lot of things on foot. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The week was very relaxing!

Wonderful resort in one of the most evocative places on the Calabrian coast. Structure full of comfort, spacious and clean room, excellent breakfast, spectacular view and beautiful beach. Professional, welcoming and always available staff. The lifeguard Gabriele is legendary: very nice and lively, the highlight of the whole holiday! Dario at the bar was also great, welcoming, very kind and helpful! We will be back ❤️

This hotel is beautifully situated on a mountain. the beach is located below and can be reached via a beautiful walk. There is also a train that runs to the beach every hour. The rooms are of an ok size, but ours were not clean. The drain in the shower did not drain properly and we regularly had flooding in the bathroom. We had a room with a jacuzzi, but it was full of sand. We removed the sand ourselves because the cleaning crew did not do this. but the next day it was full of sand again. The sand is probably in the filters. The food is tasteless and not what you expect from Italy. The drinks are very reasonably priced and you really get large, full glasses. The hotel is very remote, we rented a car for the entire stay, which was very welcome

Super hotel, everything clean and precise. Very good waiters. Claudio and Silvio super like everyone else. Excellent and welcoming gym with everything you need. Excellent and plentiful cuisine. Excellent

Had a wonderful holiday. The hotel is beautifully situated on a high cliff. You must have seen the sunset. Spacious, clean rooms. Spacious restaurant. Always room to eat outside. Cleanest swimming pool ever with comfortable sunbeds and sufficiently large parasols. The same goes for the private beach. The water is azure blue. Beautiful! Met a lot of nice people here. The people from TUI, the restaurant staff, the lifeguard, the chamber maids, ... all very friendly and helpful. Even if we don't speak the same language. We had a great time!!!

The hotel is located on a rocky plateau with a fantastic view of the sea. Our room was very spacious, modern and well-kept with a whirlpool on the terrace. There was an extensive entertainment and sports program every day, and the fitness room was well-equipped. The staff were friendly and always helpful, sometimes a little disorganized. Breakfast and dinner were buffet style, and you could eat à la carte once per stay. There was nothing really to complain about with the food. In short: two successful weeks of vacation in beautiful Calabria!

Perfect. Very pleasant room. Pleasant and kind staff. The kitchen is great. They pay attention to food intolerances. The only downside if you want to be quiet is not to take the jacuzzi rooms. Very quiet hotel, recommended for rest.

Lovely place, professional and friendly staff, reception staff, restaurant, bar and swimming pool, Michele shuttle etc., always available and friendly, good and plentiful breakfast.... thanks to everyone from the 2nd parents

1) Taxi pick-up was terrible, slow and dangerous because the Opel Vivaro driver was constantly driving with one hand and had to talk loudly on her cell phone for the entire 1.5 hour journey without a hands-free system. 2) Electric room door lock broken, mechanical one instead. got the key 3) in the first week the TV and telephone broke down every other day and the air conditioning broke down once 4) the gardener is apparently on summer vacation too because the outdoor areas are unkempt and dirty 5) the stairs to the beach are dangerous 6) room is okay, modern but spartan, bathroom fittings calcified and badly cleaned, almost all the brackets in the bathroom are torn off and wobbly, tile joints partially torn off and open, shower heads calcified and not maintained 7) gap in the door at the entrance on the floor is an invitation to vermin 8) tar drips down the canopies at the entrance and has no drainage, so rainwater runs down the whole length when it rains 9) some of the room furnishings are already broken, bedside drawers were only repaired at our request 10) wanna-be a-la-carte restaurant but can't do anything 11) staff friendly but half-hearted and unmotivated 12) hotel beach only with construction site toilet cubicles 13) all prices for services offered are extremely inflated 14) Tui team tries very hard but doesn't seem to get through to the local staff 15) Local hotel guests are inconsiderate, presumptuous and arrogant and are even courted/given preferential treatment by the staff 16) Rooms are very thinly soundproof, you can hear every step or phone call and every chair move 17) The local women in the in-house laundry which was close to our room scream all day long 18) There is no sign of environmental or sustainability concerns here either as there is no waste separation and, for example, fireworks are set off but the remains are not cleared away etc. although there are waste separation bins in the town but they are not used or managed 19) The bed linen is only partially changed, but towels are changed daily without being asked and clean ones are replaced with stained ones!?!? 20) Room cleaning is daily but there is no regular rhythm and is therefore unpredictable, which also somewhat detracts from the guest's holiday mood. One time, someone knocks at the door at 8:00 and the next day at noon, the room is still not ready... 21) In the second week, the telephone and TV were broken down on a daily basis due to frequent thunderstorms and the air conditioning was only good for circulating the air because it was so humid in the room that clothes got clammy and the device had apparently never been serviced - the air came out again in the same way it was ****** in 22) A nearby disco club with an open-air stage often has loud parties late into the night, which is just as detrimental to a good night's sleep
