Sadly outdated hotel by Lake Bohinj offers poor value for money, even though the location is great. The fitness room was one outdated all-in-one machine, a threadmill and a ping-pong table, while the pool certainly need refurbishment. The quality of the breakfast buffet was underwhelming and the coffee some of the worst I've tasted.

Superb location and a nice room but what is it with Slovenians over a certain age? Did they miss out on hospitality school? They are all so surly. Room could do with tea/coffee making facilities. Nice balcony with view towards lake. Tried out the pool and again staff were surly. I had to sign for towels. Bike room was in the ski room in the basement down a short ramp. One last thing - the receptionist didn’t seem to understand that I wanted to check in and was More bothered about not having my luggage (which I had on my back) and confusion resulted in her not returning my passport. This really isn’t good enough and caused undue concern when I realised it was missing.

A good place for a lunch, the food is good. The servers are only slow with coming to your table and taking your order. The place itself is spacious and a lot of light enters through the glass roof, so that is very nice. The hotel is perfectly located close to the lake.

It's a great location, and it was clean and comfortable. The balcony was nice and breakfast was ok. The staff were not very friendly (checkin especially) and the hotel space on general is lacking in much personality. Would stay somewhere else if we returned.

I did not stay in the hotel but I came for coffee and cake. They waitress Slavica was so nice and helpful. The service was impeccable. The cakes were delicious. You have to pay for parking and to go to the toilet. Toilets were clean. You can pay with card or cash. They are walking distance to the lake.

Lovely hotel in the quiet town beside Lake Bohinij. This is a great base for skiing at the Vogel resort, with the ski bus stop outside the hotel. Beautiful location on bank of the lake, good restaurant, lovely staff and a decent swimming pool.

The staff were super friendly, especially the man who was serving in the restaurant for our stay. They were very accommodating and helped us plan a couple of day trips. The food portions for dinner in the restaurant were huge and delicious Slovenian food with a home-cooked feel. The buffet dinner was also great with lots of selection. The room was basic but very clean and nice with a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. Free parking was also great. The disappointing part is the fitness area which is NOT a gym and literally just 1 treadmill, 1 bike and 1 resistance weight machine (not helpful for anyone who actually does weight training). The swimming pool tiled area was not that clean and you have to pay extra for the sauna and towels. The swimming area was not luxury by any means and we didn't stay in there long. It also could have been warmer as not big enough to swim properly and more leisurely.
