We booked for a Gourmet break mid week and were delighted as soon as we got there with a complimentary room upgrade. We had the set course on the first night and a La carte the second. The food and accompanying drinks were superb. The staff were enthusiastic and very knowledgeable about both the food and drinks. My wife has a very particular food group that must be avoided and all of the staff went to great efforts to make sure this was accommodated without detracting from the dining experience.

We stayed for bed and breakfast with evening dinner. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The accommodation is so comfortable and well maintained. We look forward to visiting again in the near future.

First of all the staff are brilliant. Helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Super “can do” attitude. Our room was lovely. It had a patio which was great. The food - well what can I say - it was blinkin’ brilliant. Made my birthday all the more special. Thank you. Well done everyone.

This was our first visit to Northcote, a present as we have recently married. Albeit it has been on our list to visit for some time. We enjoyed the dinner bread and breakfast package, with wine flight, staying in one of your deluxe rooms. The whole experience was faultless, we took advantage of the lovely weather in the afternoon and enjoyed nibbles and your delicious sausage roll, with a bottle of Chablis on the terrace. Our room was spacious, comfortable and spotless. The 5 cse Gourmet dinner was delicious, the wine pairings perfect, we especially enjoyed the pairing with the native lobster and roast quail. Thankyou to all the Team for a most enjoyable experience. We will definitely return again.

We stayed at Northcote for two nights and experienced the tasting and a la carte restaurant menus. This review relates to the accommodation. The welcome was very good and administration very efficient this was a constant theme throughout our stay where the staff were without exception outstanding. The bedroom was spacious, the bed very comfortable, the bathroom well appointed and the background noise very low. We therefore had a very comfortable and restful stay. This would be a 5 star review if there weren't a few small examples of wear and tear in the furnishings and the room was quite stuffy despite the 2 fans provided. At this luxury end of the market I would expect some form of air-conditioning but these are nit picking observations which didn't seriously impact our stay (the weather was cloudy and relatively cool!) The breakfast was first class and overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
