Excellent wedding venue attended a family wedding there this weekend. Food was very good the staff were helpful and friendly. Room was lovely especially the sunrise through our window this morning. Special shout out to MC DAVE the receptionist and the breakfast staff this morning. Make sure you have breakfast when you stay as it’s the brilliant and the sausages are the star

We sadly only stayed one night, but we can’t speak highly enough of this lovely place. Firstly , the setting is lovely, the place seems spotless. However the icing on the cake is the lovely, engaging, professional staff. We met at least six staff members and each one was outstanding. We had evening meal and breakfast, both faultless. Thank you Stirk house, you were a pleasure

Great stay on a work trip. Highlights: Top quality breakfast on both mornings Staff were exceptionally friendly and went out of their way to make the stay a good one The bar stayed open late for us which was appreciated Bed extremely comfortable Nice powerful shower Improvement: Some of the elements of the room felt a little tired and could do with updating. Mirrors on the sides of both bathrooms , 90 deg from the sinks rather than above. Pedal bin didn't work. Overall a great stay and will be back with the family (room 24)

Beautiful venue for my best friends wedding! Stunning views and the most friendly, helpful staff. Lovely room with breakfast in the morning, for my boyfriend and i. Will be recommending to our friends and family. We had the best time! Thank you x

Beautiful hotel and grounds. Staff extremely friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Bedroom (Superior double) was absolutely spotless with everything we could possibly need. Dinner in Seasons Restaurant was superb and the breakfast was plentiful with great variety of choice and although the cooked breakfast was 'self service' the chef was on hand to assist if needed (also for a chat!). Overall no complaints and already booked our next stay :)

we stayed 3 nights with a wedding at the end which we were attending.the service we received from every single member of the team was exceptional, they could not do enough for us including finding me a lighter twice ! the team were all friendly, engaged with all guests and simply got it right. the food was exceptional and the management of the actual wedding day truly a team effort. thank you for making our stay memorable and very welcoming .

Service at reception and in the restaurant was excellent and the suite was perfect. We appreciated the thoughtful gift and card to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, as we were married at Stirk House in 2000. The hotel is situated in a beautiful location and on a very hot day we found the temperature indoors to be cool and pleasantly refreshing. It was a really nice stay.
