The hotel is located in a nice and quiet area. Two minutes walk from the Ribadesella promenade.
The reception by the hotel staff was excellent.
The room is spacious as well as the bathroom. And both rooms are equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay.
The mattress on the bed is firm and comfortable.
There is parking for cars (one outside and one under the hotel building).

Looking forward to leaving the hotel, IKEA furniture, mattresses from very old furniture, "cave" rooms, none of the rooms have a terrace, just a window with no option to have any view (with how beautiful Asturias is) you feel like you are in a cave, they gave us a ground floor room where they also allow pets, the wiffi does not work in the mornings, the toilet is in front of the beds... if you turn on the light the whole room lights up and a noisy fan comes on so privacy and rest are terrible. This hotel should not have 4 stars, I do not understand what they base it on. Spring mattress? IKEA furniture? Views 0? I do not recommend it

Reservation made from Sunday, 3Jul22, to Friday, 8Jul22. Feeling unwell, I took a COVID test on Tuesday, 5Jul22, in the morning, which came back positive. I informed the hotel of my situation, showing the two bars on the test carried out and that my intention was to return home for fear of getting worse and not being able to do so on my own. (I am 73 years old). The hotel has charged me for the stay as if I had stayed until Friday. I recommend that potential customers carefully read the cancellation conditions of the reservation as they are considered excessive in favor of the hotel.

We have been very disappointed with the behaviour of this hotel regarding its cancellation policy, as it has charged us for the night's accommodation that we had booked even though we have not been able to go to the city as we are infected and with quite a few symptoms of Covid. We did not even ask for a refund but rather to change it to another date as we have to go as soon as we can as we are doing work on a house that we recently bought in the area. I understand that in the situation we are in, all the cancellations they suffer are complicated financially, but we as a public, also affected by this situation, find it very difficult to have to pay twice the amount for a room that we needed and not for vacation, but out of necessity. I will certainly not stay at this hotel again, which by the way was not the first one we went to.

Hemos pasado una semana en el Villa Rosario II. En líneas generales, se cumplen las expectativas que tenia, acorde a los comentarios de otros usuarios, pero con algún matiz. El hotel está muy bien situado, sin duda alguna, tiene parking gratuito, de otra forma, sería casi imposible aparcar por la zona. El personal de recepción, correcto, pero sin duda destacaría a las señoras encargadas de mantener la habitación día a día de forma impecable, aparte de eso, son muy empáticas , amables, y siempre preocupadas porque te sientas a gusto cada día. Un 10 para ellas, sin duda alguna. El hotel desde mi punto de vista, está al límite de ser un cuatro estrellas, supongo que son detalles los que lo avalan para ello, pero por ejemplo, las camas, por lo menos las de nuestra habitación, dejan mucho que desear, el descanso es primordial, por ello deberían pensar en un colchón de mayor calidad adecuado a las estrellas del hotel. Deberían también solucionar el incómodo ruido que hace el ventilador del cuarto de baño cuando se enciende la luz, de noche es realmente incomodo porque molesta a quien se aloja en la misma habitación. El servicio de té e infusiones en el salón, está muy bien, pero deben vigilar que haya tazas limpias, agua y reponer las que se agotan. No repetiría la experiencia, por lo menos en el Villa Rosario II supongo que el Palacete es otra cosa…

Buena limpieza y servicio en lo referente a la habitación, así como excelente tanto la calidad del desayuno como la atención del personal, el cual se hacía en el hotel Villa Rosario I, pero ha habido dos cosas a modo de borrón en la calidad de la estancia: Una la bañera, resbaladiza y peligrosa; otra y más importante, que las habitaciones de formato abuhardillado son claustrofóbicas. El que sólo se tenga una ventana en alto sin terraza no hacía muy cómoda la estancia en la habitación, por lo que, desde luego, no lo consideramos nivel de un hotel de 4 estrellas.
