Hôtel Mercure Aix-en-Provence Sainte-Victoire

Horrible to avoid. This hotel is very poorly maintained. Incident during a two-night stay last week. I discovered the lock of my bathroom broken at 7:00 a.m. when I woke up knowing that I had simply closed the door for the night. Impossible to get into my bathroom where my toiletries are. Door blocked, very poor quality lock that smells of DIY renovation but not seriousness. The time to find an available room to take a shower and wash myself with a lousy disposable razor I arrive at my appointment 1 hour late. Business day ruined, big stress because if I had been inside the bathroom when the door was blocked I would have had no way of getting out... before a maid came to clean the room. Very limited empathy on the part of the staff, slow reaction to call a locksmith or a manager because of course no one feels responsible... in short, a nightmare. In the evening when I returned for the second night moved to another room without further comments, so-called "superior" room located just under the entrance porch so thank you for the noise of the rolling suitcases. The morning of departure full price bill no reduction to take into account the damage suffered no formal apology from the management because this hotel does not seem to have a management or otherwise it is invisible ... in short it is not the Mercure standard and even less the ACCOR standard to flee it is just a trap for tourist coaches and seminars booked remotely ... Hotel also dangerous when leaving by car, very inconvenient access, very ordinary breakfast, many products are missing or simply not restocked by the staff who are overwhelmed ... I often travel to hotels in the ACCOR group here is my worst experience. This hotel is downright not up to standard.

The shower towels are much too light, too thin, worn out. They are not comfortable, impossible to dry yourself. Impossible to swim in the pool, too dirty, full of leaves and branches. On the website, it is indicated, very pleasant swimming pool, open until the end of September, alas...... the Mercure hotel is nevertheless classified four stars.....

The hotel is beautiful, but aging, some rooms are not redone and we can feel it, the staff is average, especially at breakfast, a gentleman not in a good mood, really not very pleasant! Otherwise the place is very beautiful. The mountains are very beautiful, Sainte-Victoire. I still recommend it, but ask for a room and renovate.

We stayed two nights with a reservation for a Smartbox box, otherwise we would not have come given the expensive prices for one night.

Très bel hôtel dans un écrin de verdure, personnel professionnel et sympathique. Restaurant avec des plats raffinés et un grand service. Petit déjeuner varié avec de nombreux produits frais. Le seul bémol , pas de drap de bain dans la salle de bain et un peu de chauffage aurait été parfait .A recommander

Les chambres sont très grandes mais un literie très dur, un mini-bar très petit, télé très petite (82cm voir moins). Joint de salle de bain moisie, très de crayon sur le carrelage datant de la pose et des salissure sur la plinthe du as des travaux. Et hélas des travaux juste au dessus de notre chambre alors qu’il ne devais y avoir que 2 chambre occupée dans tous l’hôtel donc impossible de dormir ni de profiter de la chambre. Mais le cadre est très agréable les petits jardins sont très sympathique, personnel agréable. Pour améliorer cela faire une remise en état correct après travaux et mette un frigo et une télé un peu plus grande et un matelas moins dur.
