Oak Tree Lodge Rhyll

Room was lovely, outdoor dining and seating. A novel idea that you cook your own breakfast. You can walk all around Rhyll. The Foreshore Restaurant has beautiful food and friendly staff. Bus stop is just a short walk to the corner store. The corner store also has everything you might need and more.

We recently stayed in Acorn Cottage for 3 nights. We chose Rhyll for peace and quiet away from Cowes and the cottage did not disappoint. Very comfortable king-size bed, breakfast supplies in a great little kitchen, roomy bathroom and a sunroom to reflect on the day’s adventures. Everything for our needs as well as off-street parking. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Stayed in the Boat House for 2 nights with my partner. Beautiful rooms and decor, very cosy and welcoming. Was a peaceful location compared to Cowes but only a short drive away. Could not fault! Thanks for having us!

With thanks to our fantastic host Max and his family, we were lucky to enjoy the gorgeous Oak Tree Lodge. Our family scattered across 3 of the separate cottages for our stay, all are well appointed with all the amenities needed. We used the communal BBQ and enjoyed time in the gardens for meals and leisure. Only a short walk around Rhyll and short drive to all the main attractions on the Island. We will be back - this place was just perfect.

We stayed 3 nights in the "Gate House" at Oak Tree Lodge and it was absolute paradise. Max and family have thought of everything; a huge amount of thought has gone into the decor, location, amenities and garden. The living areas were fantastic - with beautiful spots to curl up with a book both inside and outside - and having a luxe king-size bed to collapse into at night was sensational. Rhyll itself is gorgeous - tiny and calm and relaxed, with amazing fish and chips and a lovely restaurant, all within walking distance. The Rhyll General Store is probably a 3 minute walk from the Oak Tree Lodge too, but the town of Cowes is only a quick drive away. Phillip Island's other amazing attractions are all easy to get to as well (and since we didn't see them all, we will have to come back and stay at Oak Tree Lodge again!) Max and family were lovely. Max was very responsive and went over and above to ensure we enjoyed every aspect of our stay! Absolutely delighted with our time at Oak Tree Lodge. I think this is probably the most perfect accommodation in the most perfect little hamlet in Victoria!
