Avoid this hotel, not your typical premier inn. I have stayed in Premier Inn all over the Country and this is by far the worst one that I have ever stayed in. I’d booked 2 rooms for 2 nights, and if it hadn’t been for the fact that I was so tired, I would have packed my bag and come back home. One room was ok, my room was awful. Hadn’t been cleaned, I had to clean snot from the plug before I charged my phone, the extra pillows were in a bag but with no seal. So I took them out and they had been used as they smelled really bad of sweat and had marks on. The shower door kept jamming, and the trap smelled as though someone had shoved a cabbage down it. Complained at reception, was told that my room would be cleaned the next day. Restaurant was dirty, there was something that I can only hope was yogurt smeared all over the windows, and didn’t look as though they’d been cleaned in years. My Mum ordered a steak and she asked for some mustard, only for the girl to return 5 minutes later and tell her that they don’t order mustard anymore. Who doesn’t have mustard in a restaurant? The toilet in the restaurant…OMG. Walked in, opened the door to the cubicle and someone had sh*t on the floor, the inside and outside of the pan and all over the seat. Told the staff and they told me that they think it had been done the day before. The next day when we returned, our room hadn’t been cleaned, and the shower hadn’t been sorted, so we were moved to a different room. In all fairness to the girl on reception (megs), I felt sorry for her as she was a really bubbly and polite girl and it’s not her fault that the other staff can’t do their jobs properly. I will definitely not be returning to this premier inn, I only ever stay in premier inn as they are generally the same across the board, but this one needs closing for at least a deep clean, and to get some staff who know how to do their jobs.
