Semiramis City Hotel

This hotel is near the sea in the new city of RDOS, because there are no tourists in winter, the hotel is very cheap, but the hotel facilities are not reduced because there are no tourists, heating is available, the service is super good, the breakfast is super rich, although I saw that I was eating breakfast alone, The hotel has a bus stop to the airport in three minutes, and it takes about 10-15 minutes to the old city. It is very convenient to have a bus to LINDOS for only 6 euros.
Oktober Downtown Boutique Hotel

We stayed for 7 nts with Jet 2 and found this hotel to be clean and comfortable, The best is its location being 10/15 minutes walk into the old town and 10 mins walk to the center and beaches in both directions 5/10 mins. I had requested a high room with a sunny balcony as I was celebrating a special big birthday whilst we were away. As I had not received a reply to my request it was a case of get what your given, I think having been to the hotel I doubt many of the rooms have sunny balconies for long in the day due to the time of year we awere there and it being a city location surrounded by other buildings. We had room 204 which was facing another block of apartments their balconies and their pool so not a view as such, but its a city. Could have been worse as if we had been room 202 or 200 we would have been facing a blank wall. Anyway we never sat on the balcony as we were out all the time. The bed was comfortable and we were provided with bath robes and slippers to save on the towel usuage. Walk in shower and as as usual in Greece not best sealed so water leaked out if you were in too long. Soon dried out. Air con and safe were included in the price which was nice and it was needed as around 33 during day and only down to 27 at night on some nights. 2 small bottles of water on arrival. No chair at the desk/dressing table in the room so took the one from the balcony to use. Not alot of storage for clothes but would be fine for a 3/4 day city break. No facility to hang your beach towels and swimwear anywhere and the balcony is glass with a hand rail and no gaps so we used the towel pegs which fortunately were large enough to secure things to the hand rail to dry. Its windy so you need to find some way to stop things blowing away. Again more a city break hotel than a beach or pool hotel. Sunbeds are comfy and pool nice a quick dip to cool off for a few hours. No sunbeds available 2 days into our holiday being reserved by placing towels by invisible people at breakfast. The hotel was full and if everyone wanted to use the pool area there was no space, and limited beds available. The hotel provide towels for you to use by the pool if they have not been taken by the invisible people sometimes 2 towels on the beds, sad. Breakfast was good for us plenty of meats, cheese, fruit, bread, jam, honey, cakes and cereals. Can't comment on hot food as we didn't eat any. Be aware kitchen said they do not have decaf coffee if you need it but I had taken my own and no alternative milks. I guess you need to ask at reception when you check in or email them before if you need something different. We hired a car for 5 days from Ruote few minutes down the road great value and gave us a chance to see a bit more of the island and visit Santa Marina beach which was only a 15-minute drive and was a fabulous bay with calm waters we preferred to the north west coast beach to the left of the hotel and the big town beach to the right of the hotel too many su
Castellum Suites - All Inclusive

Was pleasant stay at Castellum suites. Was scared to book this hotel because of different reviews but completely no regrets for choosing it. Cleaning service every day, lovely and hard working staff, of course all the staff were great.. but especially want to mention Irene and Catherina (I guess she is a manager). I stayed there with two kids and they were just incredible and so helpful. Hope the employer sees its great workers. Food was tasty, no complaints at all. Stayed there for 10 days, so I know what I am saying, and of course, I didn't expected caviar and champagne. We checked in around 2:45pm and girls at reception made sure that we get lunch despite lunch time finished at 2:30pm. It was so lovely after long flight. Overall I would stay there again and of course location is just perfect, bus stop across the road, old and new town 15mins walking away.

Rodos Niohori Elite Suites Boutique Hotel

A wonderful end to our holiday. From the check in, to the amazing personal service and cooking from Violetta at breakfast to the check out by Georgios everything was careful, considered, and friendly. A true personal service delivered with pride. Do check the before and after pictures in the reception. You can see the owners architectural skills in the conversion and development. A bolt hole of luxury and service at the edge of Rhodes Old Town. Still a bit tricky for taxi drop off and pick up, but no trouble for the hotel to arrange and assist with.
Hotel Parthenon Rodos City

Stayed at the hotel 23rd December 2023 to January 3rd 2024. The booking was for hotel & breakfast. On questioning the receptionists twice regarding breakfast was told breakfast not served during winter months. Only receptionists & cleaners working. The receptionists did not advise that the breakfast costs were diverted to elswhere so went out for breakfast, That was over 12 days so no alternative offered. The Bed was comfy but the accomodation was basic. The room was not cleaned on 5 days during the stay. The fridge was empty, not even water in the fridge. If we wanted drinks, there was at least one fridge in the reception area that had water, bear & soft drinks that had to be paid for. we were on a budget but not so tight that we could not afford to have breakfast outside the hotel but had we have been on a tight budget the extra cost could have ruined the holiday. . The wardrobe had carrier bags left over from a previous occupant & in one drawer & a few disposable razors from a large pack in another drawer presumably from a previous occupant. Having spoken to Tripadvisor, they state the the hotel diverted the breakfast cost to an alternative option but we were not advised of the same & the hotel refuses to compensate for the additional cost of having to get breakfast outside the hotel. No compensation offered other than the one night we did not stay due to the late arrival of a connecting flight from Frankfurt to Rhodes. We spent over 250 euros eating breakfast outside the hotel due to the Parthenon not offering breakfast. I do not recommend this hotel other than to say the receptionists were polite but not informative about the stay. There were others staying at the hotel who may have had similar experiences. Th booking contained false advertising in stating hotel & breakfast but did not vocalise any alternative. That is money taken for services not offered. If you are looking to stay in Rhodes. try other hotels that may honour what is advertised. Rich & Judy Hinds.
