Just leaving after a fantastic 2 week holiday. The hotel is in a great location for the beach, shops, restaurants and buses to Rhodes town.plenty of sunloungers and a lovely pool. The apartments have got everything you need kettle, fridge coffee maker oven and grill and plenty of pots and pans.George his wife and Savvos the son run it between them. Always greeted with a smile and a chat. There is a bar to get drinks while lounging round the pool and they also serve food up to 4pm. Big supermarket 10 mins away to stock up on all your needs. I will be booking again for next year.
Mercure Rhodes Alexia Hotel & Spa

As with previous reviews don't be put off with outside surroundings on arrival. Hotel is fantastic. From check in to check out everyone was so pleasant friendly and helpful. A special mention for Alexandra on reception who always had time for a chat and nothing was to much trouble. We stayed half board breakfast was very good and plenty of choice although a bit busy at times. Evening meal was excellent. A la carte choice served at table. Food was always superb although half way through stay still had not had anything traditionally Greek. After mentioning this to Stavros our waiter (an absolute gem) he said he would see what he could do,true to his word there was a Greek dish on menu every night for rest of our stay. The food and service especially on an evening was certainly a highlight of the week. The hotel is perfectly located for the bars etc and the old town is only a 15 minute walk away. If we return to Rhodes we would not hesitate in staying at the Alexia again
Sunny Days Hotel

Absolutely loved our stay at Sunny days, We usually stay at AVRA beach but couldn’t get in so booked close by at Sunny days, We weren’t expecting much going on previous reviews but we loved our stay here, The staff are great especially the reception staff and Mike the lifeguard, Our room was nice with a good shower,we didn’t eat much at breakfast as bought some Frosties as that’s all we need for breakfast, The pool area was superb, you went down at 9 and lots of sun beds,we also loved the pool, also the rooms were made very early most of the time so ready when you went back to your room, Now the big question would we stay again? Most definitely I really enjoyed this stay, thank you everyone
Mitsis Grand Hotel

If this is your first vacation you probably won't mind too much. But I would not book this hotel again. Rooms are definitely old. Not enough outlets. No vanity kit or other amenities in the room to speak of. Tiny tv. Noticeably noisy. Hallways have no sound dampening, my room ended up being above the restaurant so all the noise from the 24/7 restaurant made sleep practically impossible. Tiny bed. Double bed is two tiny beds put together. Very firm mattresses. My first room had a foul odor. Second did not. Overall not a five-star experience. Overpriced for what it is. Food is decent. Pool is good. If you're not planning on spending too much time in your room then choose wisely.
Sunday Hotel

Just got back from 2 weeks at this lovely hotel. Excellent staff made the holiday better. Everyone of them helpful and friendly. Rooms cleaned and bed linen and towels changed regularly. Whole place spotless. Food at the bar reasonably priced and tasty. We had room five next to reception and although we did not have a view that the other rooms had we had plenty of space in the apartment. Hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from the main area where most of the bars and restaurants are located so may be a problem with those with mobility problems although taxis are about 7 euros each way. There is some noise from the nearby main road and dogs do bark at all times of the day and night but not a deal breaker. Would recommend this hotel an will be returning.
Mitsis Lindos Memories Resort & Spa

Its a nice hotel, some things are needing alittle TLC like the bathrooms. Our shower head had cracked and was shooting water over the shower also the floor and shower doors seals needed de-moulding or just replaced. We were there for a week and the bed was made each day but no clean sheets for the whole week, even though we had spilled a drink on them. We had water and fizzy drinks in the fridge when we arrived but they were never replaced even though we were all inclusive. We had tea, kettle and a coffee machine but no pods of coffee anywhere if to pick up at breakfast. We only ate 1 dinner and 2 lunch at the hotel restaurant and it was the same food every day, just the main meat was different with a chef cooking it for you which was the nicest thing there. Everything was also just warm enough to eat. Breakfast was the same thing everyday, even the chef did the same pancakes and waffles everyday! You have to find your own table and wait ages for a drink weather it was tea/coffee at breakfast or beer/wine/ evening drink. One evening i tried to get a drink with dinner we and failed, i got up went out of the restaurant over to the bar and got my partner and myself a drink to go with our food, the bar staff seemed confused but gave me the drinks in a glass as normally if you take a drink away from the bar it had to be in a plastic cup. The waiters were also clearing tables onto a trolly just adding dirty plate after dirty plate and because of this sometimes you had to ask for a clean plate so you could eat. The stack of dirty plates got so high they did fall on more than one occasion. The pool was freezing but the beach and sea water just a few mins walk from the pool was a lovely temp. The service at the bar was good but they didnt have all the drinks and some were pre-made in a bottle. You did always get a snack which was nice. On a whole it just seems like it needs a referb the staff need training, all of them. The food needs to change. I wouldnt stay again. We actually didnt book this place but were upgraded as where we had booked had over booked so we thought we would feel abit out of place in a 5star but this is no 5star, maybe it used to be. Buses are easy and cheap to use if you can manage the hill to get up to the stop.
