Kiotari Miraluna Resort

The most disgraceful hotel we have ever stayed at. All for paying for what you get but in this instance we paid a hell load more for what we received. The facilities are filthy, pools not cleaned, sun beds are absolutely rotten, cracked tiles everywhere, food is absolutely vile. Although stray cats are normal for Greece having restaurant chairs covered in cat hair and the hotel allowing the cats to be fed inside the restaurant is not acceptable. We also had adults pushing children out of the toddler pool so they can sit in there with their kilos and drink and smoke. Staff were aware of this and yet did nothing. Left us without AC for 3 days whilst moving us to rooms with plug sockets hanging off the walls, bird poo everywhere, cockroaches crawling all over the furniture in the rooms and dead ones left to rot on the pathways. This hotel is NOT safe for families, we had been moved between 3 different rooms due to: 1st room - broken air conditioning unit. Told it would be fixed on Tuesday but when Tuesday came around they told us it will NOT be fixed during our stay. 2nd room - broken plug sockets, some falling out of the walls, live cables being open and accessible by children. Air conditioning unit was in a separate room to the bedroom. 3rd room - unsecured platform leading to the pools not fenced off, a child can fall from this and hurt themselves. Also exposed armour pipe which had been broken and a bottle shoved into it to stop access… The staff at this hotel are incredibly rude. One of the managers had told my partner they speak better English than him (we are native) as she has a masters degree in the subject! They do NOT care about any issues you have and are fully aware that the hotel is in disrepair but fail to admit/do anything about it. We have raised this with the hotel manager himself and he shrugged and did nothing further. We had spoken to 5 other British families at this hotel ALL had problems ranging from bed bugs to actually being made homeless by the hotel for one whole day. The best part about this holiday was landing back into London. Do not let this shy you away from booking Rhodes just please avoid this hotel completely.

Had a fantastic 11 night stay here. The whole hotel was very clean and the staff were amazing especially lyle the entertainer joey behind the pool bar the lady manager in reception and the lady manager on guest relations who were both so helpful as a suitcase of ours did not make it to rhodes. Lyle and joey were amazing with us all but especially my 4 year old son who was sad to say bye to them both they all made our stay enjoyable. There isn't much to do outside the hotel however we got a bus to Lindos one night and wish we had known about this earlier as on the bus route there was loads of places we could have gone to and the bus was cheap and very easy to get. We 100% come back to this hotel amazing time had by all 8 of us.

you can have a great rest, very kind people .Beautiful trip and beautiful experience . The best person in the hotel is Mrs. Klaudia from the restaurant. Every day smiling and very helpful. I like quest relation person . The private pool is great

This was our first holiday as a family of 4 with two children. We had an absolutely amazing time. We loved the layout of the premises, they have 7 pools, a few for just the children and toilets spread throughout so you never have far to walk to one. Everywhere seemed to be clean enough for us and the every single staff member we came across was absolutely lovely and always seemed up for a chat. Everyone from the Bar Staff (Ackmed? I'm not sure how to spell his name, sorry) to the cleaners, to the buffet co-ordinaters, very friendly. They were very smiley and friendly to the children and were sincere in their desire to have a laugh. Check in/out was easy and theres also a supermarket right next to the hotel which came in really handy when we run out of essentials, although it was a little expensive. THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! We loved the buffet, and were impressed by the large array of food available, lots of stuff for picky eating children and a tonne of meats, carbs, LOTS of salad stuff, amazing desserts, fruits, beer, red/white wine, fruit juices, literally something for everyone. Not much spicey food if that's what you want but thats not surprising. I honestly dont have anything negative to say apart from the ants and booklice which unfortunately plagued our room. We're not too fussed as we tried to keep the room crumb-free but they seemed to always be out scouting. I know theyre hard to control, but I think we just got unlucky for our room we had (834) The final part of my review I wanted to leave seperate because it really made our experience memorable. The entertainment team were outstanding and an absolute credit to this hotel. I really want the management to realise just how important the animation team is in improving the overall experience to holidaygoers staying at Kiotari Bay. It brings a tear to my eye to remember the experience they gave to my daughter and to ourselves. Every evening after out dinner there was a disco and most of the time after the disco, an aftershow, notably a The Greatest Showman performance and an All That Jazz display. They were absolutely fantastic entertainment and really satisfying to watch with a nice drink from the bar right next to it. There was also an international night catering for certain nationalities which we went to even though my daughter didn't understand any of the words she was still so excited to take part. I think she even learnt a little German. There were three key people who our daughter and ourselves will forever remember and have a special place in our hearts for showing such love and friendliness to all of us. Michal, Shyla and Xav - you should be proud of the people you are and safe in the knowledge that you manifest the very best of people on planet Earth. Michal is probably one of the friendliest and most innocent people I have met in my life and I really hope he goes on to do great things. I will just post these and leave them here we are here for 10 days and very disappointed in the condition of the hotel. We have stayed in Greece for years and had amazing holidays we are a group of 10 and paid over 12,000 to get this.

Single mum who went on holiday with her kids (7 and 10). We had an amazing holiday. The kids had a ball and I had a ball. It was our first solo holiday and so was feeling a little hesitant. However the whole holiday was brilliant. Brilliant food, brilliant, entertainment, brilliant staff and brilliant pools for the kids. I appreciate that there may be a few aesthetics that need to be updated but for me it didn’t take away from a brilliant holiday.
