Cook’s Club Ialysos

What can we say! This was one of the best holidays we've ever had. The hotel was so amazing, so clean and well kept. Food was absolutely incredible, best hotel food we've ever had! The attention to detail throughout the hotel was perfection. What made it for us though, were the amazing staff. They really put 110% into making our holiday experience the absolute best. The bar staff were fantastic (which was great as we spent a lot of time at the bar!) The cocktails were incredible and the guys behind the bar were great fun! To sum up, we had the best time! All of the staff throughout the hotel made us feel so welcome and it was lovely to build a rapport with them. Micheal we will miss you...but don't worry we're booking next year's holiday as I write this 🤪 Byyyyyiieeee! From Carrie and Sarah x

What a fabulous week , I can’t recommend Cook’s Club and the team highly enough . The hotel is beautiful and the pool area is one of the best I’ve seen . What makes this place even better are the superb staff . Michael and his bar team have been exemplary. The reception and restaurant team were so friendly and everything is kept so clean . Great stay!! Really clean and all staff were lovely. Breakfast was really lovely- lots of choice! All food was really good. A short taxi ride to Rhodes about €25 each way. Supermarket a few minutes walk away. Rosemary restaurant was also a few minutes walk away - highly recommend. The only thing I would say, turn the music down around the pool during day. (Surely you see people up and leave the pool area for peace and quiet!) I saw no one partying or wanting to around the pool during day!

Fantastic hotel! Immaculately clean and great facilities. The food has been exceptional, both at breakfast and the hotel restaurant & pool bar. The rooms are spacious and very clean. The staff however really make this hotel. They are all so friendly, from the onsite shop, pool bar, cleaners, car-hire and restaurant staff. Particularly like to call out the blonde female employee who often works the breakfast area and by the pool bar - she always had a smile on her face, works incredibly hard and is so friendly, our group wanted to personally tip her and pass on our thanks but unfortunately she wasn’t working on our last day but I hope she reads this and is praised by management. The hotel is adults only and is pitched for those wanting affordable luxury. It had a great atmosphere for those wanting a bit of lively entertainment but not a ‘party hotel’ with soft-house beats round the pool and a great cocktail mix. It definitely is targeting that late-20s-30s category with its boho-style. The hotel has its own onsite shop which was really useful as well as a really easy and affordable car-hire option which we made us of. c.€60 a day for a VW Polo. Overall I couldn’t recommend this hotel enough, I’d definitely come back and check-out other Cook’s Club hotels.

Really enjoyed our time at cooks club. The rooms were lovely presented and clean. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels provided. The bean bags around the pool were great, super comfy! The pool bar had great cocktails and the pool bar food was good also. The breakfast offering was good. I can’t comment on the evening food as we ate out every night. There is a bus stop at the end of the road which will save you lots in taxi fares. It goes straight into the town, really easy to use, just scan your contactless, don’t bother buying a ticket prior as ours wouldn’t scan. The only downfall to the hotel would be the no ironing facilities in the room, if you want anything ironed then it’s €5 a piece, quite annoying given clothes have come in a case and usually need a quick once over. If you have a small steamer or iron, bring it! I’ve never known a hotel to not offer an iron, Cooks Club state it’s due to health and safety? Sounds more like money making to me. Overall our stay was great, would definitely recommend to friends and family and hope to come back!

We stayed here as a couple for a week. It’s a really nice hotel - the social areas are all very pretty and clean and the staff are attentive. My pros and cons are as below: Pros: - Very aesthetic overall and situated in amongst the trees which is nice - Super nice pool and bar area - A nice young vibe (I’d say the average age is 28)! so quite fun and sociable - Good and friendly service - Decent and pretty outdoor gym - Good breakfast with lots of variety - Good value for its amenities - Only 15 minute drive into Rhodes Old Town and it’s easy to park there too which was great for rental car Cons - Absolute necessity to have a rental car. We hired from a place in Ialyssos for £150 for the week. The area around the hotel is not nice and there’s nothing to do - would 1000% recommend if you are staying as taxis are expensive and bus is effort - Our room was near the pool bar which plays extremely loud music until 1am. We are good sleepers but for someone else it would’ve kept them up all night. - Young vibe means it’s loud - lots of people going out and coming back late and being loud - We booked a double room but got given two singles pushed together which impacted sleep - The music by the pool was excessively loud and/or depressing Adele. Hotel would definitely benefit from outsourcing their playlists and sound system management - bedroom is quite small with little to no storage including no wardrobe. The hotel doesn’t offer irons so you have to pay €5 per item for ironing. Overall we had a really positive and relaxing stay, enjoyed the chilled pool vibe and local run routes and the gym. We were very glad for our rental car to go into Rhodes every evening. I think a few adjustments by Cooks Club would make this a really really fab hotel for great value!

We stayed here for a week and had a good time all in all, there is many things that the hotel does very well and some things which may need a little reconsideration. The rooms are basic but nice and well housekept. The balconies are large and are great addition. We read the reviews regarding the music and asked for quiet room, which we did get, no problems there. Main positives were friendly staff, great breakfast offering, decor and vibe of the hotel, relatively large room considering being a classic double, they provided us with iron and board- went the extra mile as I understand they usually don’t do this. Things to consider when booking- you need a car unless you are happy to be by the pool all the time and not leave the hotel, we had the car all week and it was a massive plus. Plane noise- it is there, all day, not hotel’s fault but be aware. Cats- whilst a nice novelty and we enjoyef watching all the kittens, they do get too much and jump on empty tables and eat leftovers… All in all, we would definitely use the brand again, had a very good time.
