€8 Per night for Air-Con never heard of this in my lifetime owner is very aggressive. Constant noise of Aircraft and Dogs barking from nearby house the food is not nice but there are a few nice places to eat nearby this place isnt actually in Rhodes town it is actually on the remote outskirts.

Fabulous family run apartments with friendly staff who never stopped smiling the whole time we were there. A special mention to Georgia who went out of her way to be kind. The rooms are basic but spotlessly clean thanks to the lovely cleaning staff. There are 2 good sized pools which each had plenty of sun-loungers around them. I paid extra for air conditioning which was well worth it for me. My friend had a separate room and said she was fine without air conditioning so it’s down to how much heat you can tolerate at night. The food was also very fresh and tasty, the Greek Night was entertaining. There are plenty of restaurants in the area and I would recommend a cocktail at the Sunset Bar to watch the sun go down. For a budget friendly holiday in the sun I would thoroughly recommend this place.

We had such a wonderful time here! The room was lovely and spacious, yet cosy with a balcony overlooking the stunning grounds and had an incredible view of the sea. The staff were so friendly and kind- we were welcomed like family! The food was amazing and the area was fantastic to explore. We got to have some fantastic traditional Greek entertainment and homemade delicacies! We will definitely be going back again. Thank you, Family Filoxenia 🙂

Just back! We had a ball! First time there.... But we will be back! Clean and comfortable rooms. Taverna was excellent! Food was delicious. Pools were clean and well maintained. Staff were so kind and friendly. Nikos and Evangelia were perfect hosts!

I had a lovely time at the Filoxenia Apartments. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. I stayed in a superior apartment - which I wasn't expecting. The beds were made and bins emptied every day which is more than normal in an apartment. It was my first holiday alone and I met lots of lovely people, some of these had stayed many times before. The beach, supermarkets and restaurants are all within a few minutes walk. Theologos village is well worth the 35 minute walk to get there, but note that the taverna only opens during the evenings. I will definitely go to these apartments again. The only downside was the taxes to be paid at the end of the holiday and I would have preferred to pay on arrival, but this is the Theologos way.

Really comfortable beds and great air con. Lovely little terrace and the resident tabby cat would always come over to say hello in the mornings and evenings. The views were lovely and it was so peaceful even in the school holidays. Room was tired but was expecting that anyway. We only stayed for 3 nights but you couldn’t go fully self catering as very limited facilities. Would have been great if there was a toaster and/or microwave. The swimming pool area was great, comfy sunbeds and parasols which were always available and lots of balls and floats around to use in the pool. Restaurant was really nice as well and staff very friendly and helpful. They had a shower room which we used before our transfer picked us up which was good and a luggage store. Bus stop right outside hotel to take you top the old town, wouldn’t recommend as it took 1.5 hrs to get there and the bus is rammed. If we went next time we would hire a car as there were plenty of rental shops and roads weren’t too bad. Hotel also has a car park.

Beautiful family run hotel , friendly and helpful staff, food in the restaurant is authentic Greek kitchen- overall, amazing place to stay. It’s peaceful, comfortable, relaxing and only few bus stops away from the old town or other popular locations. Less than 5min to the beach.

Positives - Friendly staff, good location near beach, quiet beaches. Near buy shop. We would definitely return to this hotel for an end of season break. Hotel food was homemade, and the BBQ was very good. Also enjoyed the live music. Negatives - I find it a bit underhand to not inform guests of the safety deposit box charge. When I went to enquire, I was given the key, but the owner failed to tell me there would be a charge of €21 for the week. Even if this was supposedly written on the love holiday spiel, or somewhere in the hotel info, it would have been courteous to mention it in person. The same goes for the local taxes - you are informed at checkout this needs to be paid, I think we should have been told at check-in. So, we had €42 euro to pay at checkout, which needn't have been a surprise, if there had been appropriate communication on check-in. Therefore, I would recommend the management improve their communication with guests regarding the upfront fees. Lastly, the photos of hotel rooms (inside) on their website and love holiday booking page, are a misrepresentation of reality. I appreciate they are standard basic greek accommodation, but the photos portray a nicer internal space than what you actually get. Not hotel related - but just a note about local supermarkets - do not expect a proper supermarket. There are a few on the stretch of road - the one nearest to hotel sells bare minimum, if you walk further down on the same side, there is a shop with lilos etc outside, and this is the best equipped & has many tourist souvenirs, but also has better stock of basic items.

It is only 3 star and that is very obvious. I arrived got card to access the studio was brought to it and was told: ' this is your room'. I was not given any additional info. The studio was stuffy and never smelled fresh even after cleaning. The towels smelled stuffy and some were a half cut of bigger one. We did not have 2 of some of the utensils even though it is for people and the utensils were very old sure handle of tea spoon broke of eating a kiwi??? We did not have a big cutting knife for bread, no kitchen towel or dish cloth. This is not mentioned anywhere so I did not bring it. The room had air-conditioning unit but we could not use it. The area is lovely and luckily we were on the go every day. Unsure why people find this such a great place and would go back.

Just got back from a amazing holiday here. The apartments are lovely, quiet and beautiful. Swimming pools are quiet and peaceful. Owners are friendly and so are staff and made me feal at ease. Short walk to beach and shops. Trips booked locally at shop at end of the road. Bus outside apartments into rhodes, just not very early start times, ask for timetable to hotel. Different times at weekend. Planes go over as your like 15 mins from airport, but you don't really notice. Mini golf at apartments was fun :) Greek night and bbq night available there also :) Cocktails are lush ＜3 WiFi was good. Tv wasn't great as all greek. Thank you guys ＜3 you have to pay for air-conditioning at end of trip incase people didn't realise x

Just returned from a weeks stay here with my mum & sister. Our only regret is that we didn't stay longer! Our experience from start to finish was 10/10. Lovely, warming, friendly & kind people. The staff work so hard. Rooms are kept fresh & clean. The food is delicious every single day. Disappointed we couldn't make the Greek night but very happy we experienced the BBQ night, highly recommend, fabulous tasty food. Excellent value for money. The homegrown ingredients such as olives, olive oil, lemons, limes, herbs etc. are a really beautiful addition. Relaxing, pool area. Stunning grounds, calming atmosphere. The plane noise did not bother us in the slightest, after a day we didn't notice it! We enjoyed watching them in the sky whilst swimming in the pool! Great restaurants nearby, highly recommend sunset beach bar (5-10 min walk). Perfect for a morning coffee or a sunset cocktail! The beach nearby is picturesque, sometimes windy but we enjoyed a swim in the sea on a calmer day! It has been so nice to stay in a family run hotel where the staff treat you all as individuals & take the time out of their day to make you feel special. Thank you to all of you at Filoxenia. Just back from an excellent two weeks at Filoxenia. To get the negatives out of the way first it is directly under the flight path and there is noise disturbance from aircraft taking off. We got used to it after a while and flights don’t start until about 6.15 am so it didn’t bother us too much. There is a busy road just next to the complex and this too may inconvenience light sleepers. Other than that the experience was overwhelmingly positive. The owners and all of the staff speak excellent English and are all pleasant and helpful. The cleaners were lovely and did a brilliant job. The pool area (with two pools and a kiddy paddling pool) is excellent and there are plenty of sun beds so never a problem finding a spot at any time of the day. Our superior studio was spacious for two people and there was a nice big bathroom. Self catering facilities were quite sparse (which didn’t bother us) but there was a good sized fridge with freezer compartment, The grounds are very well maintained and very pretty. The restaurant serves decent food and we enjoyed the two meals we had there as well as numerous pre and post dinner refreshments. We enjoyed the Greek night with guest dancers and musicians on the Friday but didn’t bother with the BBQ as one of our party of four is not a meat eater. We chose to eat out most nights as we like to try different places and were delighted to find a handful of really good restaurants within a fifteen minute stroll. Rodi Pure Delli is a fantastic little Italian with gorgeous food and amazing staff. Billy’s Place serves great food from a vast menu and has a lovely atmosphere. Dundees at the end of the village serves amazing fresh fish at really keen prices. Albahaca is a smart little restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine again with lovely staff. To Spitaki is an authentic Greek restaurant with incredibly low prices for food and drink. Their Greek night was fabulous with excellent entertainment and plate smashing. We were surprised at the fantastic value for money in all of the places we visited and we spent far less than we had anticipated. Thank you Filoxenia for a wonderful stay.

Visited my family Eva and Nikos with my friend for 4/5 days absolutely perfect hotel for a chilled break, absolutely nothing they won’t do for you, Thankyou , rooms perfect comfortable, food amazing, all staff are wonderful, they all work hard, hopefully see you next year with Neil , Thankyou Nikos and Eva.

Beautiful relaxed holiday. Nikos and the bar team are fabulous nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are spacious light and clean. Air con is brilliant. Pool and pool area is pretty and plenty of sunbeds and brollys x Never had breakfast but the evening meals are beautiful the souvlaki chicken is stunning and the tzatziki is out of the world ! Restaurants close by are all 5* if you fancy something not Greek go to me gusta the sushi is phenomenal x Big Thankyou to bill and senka and the lovely lady who made my ice coffee in the morning x we’ve had a holiday we will never forget x yamas x
