Lindian Village Beach Resort Rhodes, Curio Collection by Hilton

Everything was good except dinner. Breakfast is ok but dinner need upgrade.

I really enjoyed my stay at the new Curio in Rhodes in the last week of May. I was able to relax straight away helped by the water feature running through the resort, excellent staff, easy access to the beach and sun beds and superb food which was consistently of a very high standard with great variety. I would most definitely return.

It is very upsetting to have to be writing this review, however this has been the worst experience I have EVER had in a hotel. With it being a 5* Hilton Resort, there is an expectation of ‘luxury’ and great service. This couldn’t be further from the truth for my holiday. After check in, I had to wait for someone to take me to my room. This would have been fine if I hadn’t been travelling all day, however, there were 2 people available to take me to my room who were standing around doing nothing and I waited 20 minutes for the girl at reception to ask one of the gentlemen to take me to my room. Upon arriving at my room, I realised that my door did not lock at all, from the outside or inside. I called reception and was told a member of the maintenance team would come to fix it. After an hour nobody had come and I was confined in my room as I didn’t want to go out and risk anyone walking into my room. The second time I called reception, the gentleman said that he’d tried 3 times already and that he’d send the manager down. The manager came 20 minutes later and ‘fixed’ the door. The door now locked from the outside, but still not the inside (this part is relevant for my 2nd day here). The 2nd day here, I decided to have a better day at the beach. The beach is lovely and peaceful and always has an available sun lounger. This hotel advertises table service on the beach, when asking if I could order a drink I was told I had to walk to the bar and order it myself. So, I did and then was told at the bar that I could’ve ordered at the beach…. I believe it may have been a manager behind the bar who overheard this and immediately got someone else to take my order and went and spoke to the gentleman assigned to the beach. This however was done on the walkway back to my sun lounger and I had to walk through their conversation with the gentleman looking at me like I’d killed his first born. The second waiter who actually took my order was lovely and attentive and actually recommended some lovely bits off of the menu. The speed of the service on the beach is appalling, order multiple drinks because you’re going to have to wait 30 minutes minimum for a canned drink, and that’s at least an hour after the bar opens because they don’t come take your order. This is because the ‘open hours’ are not the actual hours any of the restaurants open. On returning to my room for my afternoon siesta, I had a knock on my door from housekeeping. Which I answered although I already had my do not disturb on and had requested no housekeeping. I told the lady that no thank you I don’t need any cleaning and got ready to have my nap. Just as I was dozing off around 20 minutes later, another housekeeping lady walked straight into my room! This is where the room not locking from the inside is an issue, all well and good guests not being able to get in but staff members can get in at any point with their master key. We stayed at this wonderful hotel between the 24th and 26th of May. In one word EXCELLENT!!! The premises are outstanding. We chose to stay in a suite with a private pool. Everything was top notch! The suite really spacious, amazingly clean, all amenities were excellent and everything in terms of furniture and appliances was brand new. The private garden with the pool was really comfy and beautiful. An oasis of relaxation and privacy! The staff was very professional and always there to assist and comfort us in every way they could! The hotel has a really big outdoor pool and a wonderful beach, all very efficiently equipped with whatever you might need! Another highlight were the Greek and the Peruvian restaurants. Dinning at its best! All in all, a truly 5 star experience that was worth every penny, and much more!! So if you’re looking for an amazing and luxurious weekend or longer holidays, do yourself a favor and check out this hotel. Easily among the top 5 five star hotels we have ever visited!!! You have our respect!!

We recently stayed at Lindian Village, and it was a deeply disappointing experience. At 10:30 PM, housekeeping walked into our room while we were asleep with our baby, just to ask, "towels?". Reception was unhelpful in addressing this intrusion. s Our private pool was disgusting and unusable, with filler and paint chipping off, and an exposed electrical cable nearby. Despite notifying Al, the front-of-house manager, no action was taken. Additionally, an extension cable ran across the main pool area and beach all week, creating a hazard. The room's air conditioning was ineffective, and there were no baby changing facilities. When I asked a manager about this, he suggested changing my baby on a dirty marble sink in the men's toilets, which I refused. Our sliding doors didn't close properly, letting bugs in and causing nightly bites. Builders were drilling and shouting near our 'private' courtyard, disrupting our peace. Room service often didn't turn up, and one order took 2 hours and 45 minutes to arrive. Some staff, like the waiting and bar staff, were very helpful, but overall, the experience was far below expectations. I have photo evidence of these issues and hope they are addressed promptly.

Undeniably the best hotel experience I've ever had! Excellent throughout and fully deserving of its' 5 Star rating. The enchanting ambience, fantastic service, extraordinary cuisine make it wonderful! The staff were very welcoming, friendly, helpful & courteous.

We had an amazing time here! As soon as we arrived we were greeted and welcomed with hospitality from the reception staff. We were served with champagne which was needed after our tiring flight. We had booked the ottoman suite with the jacuzzi. The room is decorated with a bohemian vibe which I found beautiful. Everything was just renovated. The staff were so attentive and hardworking, they went out of their way to ensure that we were enjoying our dinner. I would like to thank everyone for being so helpful and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. The food in the a la carte restaurants was great and the service as well. We had to book them in advance to make sure there is availability. We tried the sailing trip to rhodes and it was the highlight of our trip. We had a wonderful time swimming in the beaches. Overall, great experience, great staff. We would definitely recommend it !! A resort that can become one of the best in Rhodes in 2 years. We stayed in a totally renovated suite with private pool and we enjoyed our drinks near the main pool every day. My greetings to Alexandra and her team! Niku restaurant is one of the best we ve ever visited and Zoe a very professional smily lady. The food truck was a big surprise for us, we couldnt imagine that we would find this kind of burgers in an all inclusive package.

+ You can tell it's recently renovated. + Food was amazing, not the generic bland stuff you'd get elsewhere + Pool was great, as you'd expect from a 5* hotel + Beach was typical high Greek standard + Overall really enjoyable visit; would come again - Only negative I could notice is that it seems a bit undestaffed but it's early season so I guess when they are at capacity they'd have more staff
